Who is guilty between you and your brother? Both of you!

 

Jesus said: if you have a conflict between you and your brother, make peace before both are in front of the judge, Jesus. In front of the judge, both will be guilty and both will be punished. Then after, you will be locked in a dark prison until you pay for all of your sins. Why? Because it is written and it is the word of the lord himself. Is Jesus a blind Judge without a sense of justice? Never!

If there is a just judge, it is the lord. The fact, however, is that as you point and focus on your brother’s sins, Jesus knows more about you. That is why it is better to focus on building your brothers and sisters, though they sin against you than on condemning them. Why? If your brother sins against you, pray for him and ask for his forgiveness. Your prayer would allow the lord to bless him with kind hard, as the lord will listen to the holy you - not your sinner brother - and your humility will ignite the humility of your sinning brother. This is good for you, and it is good for unity of spirit. Love covers a lot of sin, so operate in love.

Are we all not sinners in the eye of the lord? Is there anything that the lord needs from us? Yet the judge, who knows we all are sinful to death, sent his only child to die on the cross so he can make peace with us. He is the holly and we are sinful, yet he came toward us in humility, in suffering, and death on the cross so he can save us. This judge, therefore, does know a million sins against us when we come toward him to accuse our brother of his sin. Let us cover the sin of our brother in love, as the lord covers our sin in love. Let us imitate the lord, not the sinful world.

It is not about who is right and who is wrong, it is about preserving the peace, and love of brothers and sisters. If you point your finger toward your brother, Jesus will see 4 fingers pointing back. If you judge your brother, Jesus will judge you as such. According to your measurements, it will be given to you with a bonus. Why are you accusing your brother after all, is Jesus blind not to see it for himself? Jesus knows better. Before you go to his court with your file, he knows better. So pray for your brother who is doing you evil, and love your brother unconditionally. Win his darkness by love.  

Imagine kids in your home, who fight the whole day, and come to you with a list of sins against each other. Your desire is their harmony but what they give you is conflict. You want to be their loving father, but they want to punish each other by making you a cruel judge. You can follow rulers and judgments but you will increase conflict and will reduce love. Or you can force them to love each other and that is good for everyone. The rule will be a framework that can invoked when needed, after all, you are the judge of the rule, but their life will be harmonious in kindness, tolerance, endurance, and brotherly love than by law and punishment.

Rule and judgment cannot be the norm of social life. It should be an exception that is invoked in the worst situations. If every member of society is a thief, rule is useless and judgment is worthless cruelty. When the significant majority of people are rule-abiding, however, the law can be a useful tool against the bad apples. First love and harmony have to be built, and then after rules will be used for bad apples. That is why you should not encourage your kids to accuse each other but force them to love each other, to tolerate each other, and to cover the sin of each other against each other in love. Then the law can be used for justice.

Now if you add the devil to the picture, what the devil has to do is build sin here and there, then the law and judgment will be tools of suffering that will destroy the family, the church. If the devil is a virus, the antivirus is unconditional love, forgiveness, humility, tolerance, and faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. So let us stop listing the sins of people, they are people and people do sin. After all human wisdom is a joke, what do you expect therefore? Have you seen how kids are clue less in many things? Then you observe their awareness and knowledge growing to our standard. Then when we face the challenge of life, we see we don’t know much. We can think about 5 variables of our future, but our future is determined by countless variables that we don’t consider. When you see kids and how they think and how they progress, you will see humanity is not very different. We are not that wise at all. Some of us, figuratively speaking, are 1 year old, some are 3 years old, many are 7 years old, and few are older. Still, however, our wisdom is insignificant. So if people make a mistake, what do you expect? They are just like you, they sin as you sin. When you pray toward the lord, you don’t list your holiness but you simply ask forgiveness of all your sins. Why are other people expected to be better than you? As the lord loves you unconditionally, love them unconditionally. Otherwise, you will be judged as you judge others.  

There is a loophole in this principle. If your brother sins against you, and keeps sinning no matter what, there are legal means to see him as the world than brother. If your brother sins against you, speak to him in person. If he said sorry and corrected it, that is the end. This loop can go forever. Your brother can sin against you 70 times 70, and you have to forgive him 70 times 70. If he keeps sinning without demanding mercy and forgiveness, however, take two or three people, and speak to him. If he does not listen to them speak to Assembly of God to correct him. If he persists in his sin, then you can ignore him as the sinful world. This is the rare exception but the norm should be that love should cover the sins of your brother and sister.

We are not in the hands of people but in the hands of God. Nothing happens to us without the knowledge of the heavenly father. We are not what friends and enemies say, we are what God says. That is why, we can afford to love those who hate us and to cover the sin of brother and sister in love. Actually, it is an opportunity not a challenge for a brother or sister to sin against you. What is there that man can do without knowledge of God? What is there to fear from man? You may suffer but your suffering is not more than that you can handle. Why? Because it is written. Yet it is an opportunity, to forgive, and to love unconditionally. It is an open check to write your name and your balance on the bank of the lord’s heart. It is a golden opportunity to impress Jesus. That is why, make sure the amount you write on the check is very abundant.

They work day and night to destroy you, so pray for them day and night. Make sure the amount is very large. They love to hate you to death, love them to death. Make sure the balance is very high. What can they do to you without knowledge of God? The more holly you are, the more important you become in the eye of God. Anyone who touches you will be like touching the apple of his eye. So market things right, sell your pride, anger, hate, and way of the flesh, and buy the Lord's love. This is more than a fair exchange, it is a lottery dear.

This is good for you but it is also good for the lord because the lord does not want to lose any of his children due to sin and he really needs peace and love in churches. With peace and harmony, we can do the work of the lord, with conflict and fight we will be playing different characters in devils’ drama. Let us work for God, not for the devil. Unless our holiness is more than the holiness of the Pharisees, it is unlikely that we will make it to the kingdom of heaven. Everyone who says “lord … lord” will not make it to heaven but only those who listen to the commandments of the lord and who live by them. Let us follow the narrow path, after all, we have a guide to lead us on that path to salvation. Let us follow the lead of the Holy Spirit to the kingdom of heaven.

Yes we are eagles born to fly and our DNA is not chicken but eagle, yet since we grew up with chickens being chicken, rather than being eagles, is natural to us. The spirit inside us, the Holy Spirit, is the spirit of an eagle, but we are not accustomed to being eagles. If we allow our spirit to lead our flesh, being an eagle is natural to us. Being chicken is not our nature, so let us allow the spirit of truth to guide us to all truth that we are eagles. Then we are unstoppable, as nobody knows from where the wind comes and where it is going, neither the devil nor the world will know what we are doing, where we are going, and what we are building. Who can know the heart of the lord, and we will have the heart of the lord? Then gate of hell will not stand against us, now gate of hell is inside us, playing the drama of religion inside us. Devils will not be playing drama inside us, they will be cast out by our proximity toward them. Whenever we are around, devils will be crying for mercy because they have seen children of God, and they cannot stand the grace of the Holy Spirit inside us. All of us. This is our golden city in the hill and in that shining city the lord is the king of kings and lord of lords, while we all are worthless servants.
