The scary nightmares behind our best dreams

 

Imagine you accept the lord (Jesus Christ) as lord (God), yet you lack biblical knowledge and proper foundation and guidance to differentiate evil from good, God from the devil, and what is biblical and what is not biblical. You will be a caricature of a devil’s stupidity. In this setting, if you are empowered with power, it is nothing but a recipe for disaster under the kingdom of darkness. If you are pure in the word of God and life, it has to be nothing but a miracle of God.

Now imagine you manage some institution but you are too earthly in character and mindset. Imagine you are managing your home, for example. Because it is written, you list several laws that grant you respect and obedience from family members, but you swallow the camel in other areas. As you are hypocritical and earthly in behavior and mindset, you will have a form but not the substance of a faithful. By the law of God, therefore, you will destroy the family of God because you have an earthly heart.

 

If some error is seen somewhere rather than carrying the cross of others to move them from error to salvation and holiness through grace and support, you will load them with a heavy burden, by the law of God, while failing to touch most commandments of the lord by your finger. You will build a house of tyranny, to build your preferred castle for your kingdom by the law of God but without the love of God and fellow faithful, to rule over those good sheep, while you scatter the dark sheep in every direction, like a hired servant, into the hand of foxes in sheep cloth. Dear, you are Pharisee but not Jesus’s own, at least in life. In this setting, if you are given the limitless power of the Holy Spirit, what kind of assembly will you create? It would be your kingdom, dear, not Jesus’s kingdom.      

 

Besides spiritual power is not a proof of right faith. After all, the anti-Christ will have more powers, compared to the faithful, in days of temptation. Prophecy, miracles, and other works of the Holy Spirit do stamp with the seal of God the work of persons of God, but the person has to be a person of God in the first place. Proof comes from fruit, and the right fruit is the fruit of Jesus. The best fruits are Peter, Paul, John, and soon, in which their perfect form is lived by Jesus. Are you producing those people is the real question? If so, spiritual powers do justify you more and they are a sign of who you are, a child of God.

 

Those two lost groups of faithful are children of God, children of light, messengers (angels) of God, ambassadors of God, witnesses of God, or simply born-again faithful of the lord. We can classify them as the old blood and the young blood born again faithful. Let us imagine, their dream is granted and God ends up empowering them with the limitless anointment of the Holy Spirit. Then after, what they teach and believe will have the stamp of God as the Holy Spirit is justifying them with miracles and wonders. If this is true, you can easily imagine what kind of faith and world will be created. They will have dominance, influence, political and social power, and they can implement their social, political, and economic wishes and can propagate their dogma without bound, yet all are blind leading blind toward a cliff. The good question is where is Peter, where is Paul, where is John, where is Jacob (the great), and where is Jesus? 

 

Imagine the world being made the way you make your assembly. It is vanity built on a foundation of vanity. Imagine the young blood with more grace of the Holy Spirit, where the blind can see, the dead can rise, and the limitless power of the Holy Spirit is manifested through them, what kind of faith and faithful will they build? See what they produce now, to know they are the wrong kind. Unless you are found worthy in what is less, you will not be worthy of what is more. Now think of the old blood being empowered with similar manifestations of the Holy Spirit, what will they build? See their assemblies and their ways to see what is wrong with them. It is all blind leading blind. This is a religious system of Pharisees, rejected by no other than the Lord Jesus himself. It does not work, dears. We do look more like Pharisees, with the appearance of faith and obedience to cover our real identity of an earthly person, but not like Jesus, with real faith and real obedience to heaven.  

 

It is a sin to justify the unjustifiable, us. So let us justify God; let us justify Jesus, rather than the unjustifiable us (the blind). Let us put our dreams aside and let us follow Jesus’s dream toward us. What if we surrender to the will of the Holy Spirit? What if Jesus leads us, by telling us to go there and not to go there? What if the blind us is led by God himself, while Jesus led us? What if we grow to Jesus’s identity, mindset, morality, and ethics to have the image of God imprinted in us? This is the right dream, in which God will use us to plant Jesus rather than our ignorance. This is also right because the purpose of the Holy Spirit is to affirm Jesus, not us and our ignorance. The only one who is affirmed by God is God himself and his name is the Lord Jesus Christ. This dream is the future and this is the dream that God has for us. God has a dream, dears, God has a dream. One day his children will look like Jesus. God ended has a dream, dears.

 

In this dream, we are foot soldiers in a big war led by God. I guess the high-ranking Arch Angels of God in heaven have the general positions, and God himself is the lord of armies. We follow the order of God in obedience to fight the devil in our trench side by side with countless foot soldiers of God, while all glory, honor, and respect belong to God.

 

Since the signs of all believers are to cast demons out, to speak in tongues, to run over snakes and scorpions, to heal sickness, and so on, and since all real faithful will be empowered as such, there is no person of God that people chase but God that they worship with full faith and his name is the Lord Jesus Christ. Who knows each cancer cell that destroys our body, yet we do know their united identity in the form of breast cancer, skin cancer, and soon. The cancer of death, sin, the devil, the world, and human ignorance is Jesus, and the future is to Jesus's nameless and faceless cells of his body. This is the future ahead of us.

 

We are good in baptism and headcount, at least we used to be great, but not in creating disciples of the lord, especially in recent times. We have to produce people who live like Jesus, talk like Jesus, think like Jesus, and obey God like Jesus. This is possible by the spiritual growth process, as the Holy Spirit leads us to all truth. When God gives you a new heart and a new understanding, the new you will see the old you in simple disappointment and disgrace to make you make a U-turn. What you need is to follow Jesus while denying yourself, as a worthless being. The fact, however, is that rather than growing toward Jesus, we all are growing toward the world.

 

I guess, therefore, the world will enslave us to make us work for food that never lasts, by losing the eternal food from heaven which is given to us for free. Jesus will have his Peter, Paul, John, and Jacob the Great, as nothing is impossible to God and as God can raise the children of Jesus from stones. So the work of God will happen as planned by God. The question is where do we end up? That is up to us to decide. Jesus or the world is the choice, and we need to make a choice. Heaven and hell are in front of us. Do we grow toward Jesus or do we justify ourselves and our ignorance by what every means we can play around? It is up to us.
