  A happy God means a joyful life and a certain future of blessing. I am not referring to the abomination of desolation that is the prosperity gospel, but the true blessing of God. You may be in prison or under persecution, yet your heart will be full of joy — not because of your circumstances, but because your joy is heavenly, planted by the Holy Spirit. Your life is marked by certainty: if you die, it is because your heavenly Father has appointed it; if you live, it is because He has sustained you. Your certainty rests in the truth that God — who proved His love by giving the blood and flesh of His only begotten Son — holds your fate. Your joy is rooted in knowing that the God who gave His Son for your salvation is the one in control.   God always holds your best interest at heart, though His blessings may not come in the form of health and wealth.   Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the kingdom of darkness. This enemy exploits the weakness of the human flesh and the thorns and thistles of earthly life — selfishness, greed, and oppression — for our destruction. We are not called to dominate the earth with muscle or might, but with light. And for that, the flesh must be surrendered to the lordship of the born-again spirit within the faithful. Only then are we empowered to defeat the forces of darkness.   Most people do not knowingly follow the devil. Instead, the devil conditions them to focus on the flesh — entangled in the cares, struggles, and desires of this world. Earth is not heaven, and here, sin, selfishness, greed, partiality, and unjust gain often appear to bring reward, while holiness, kindness, impartiality, and justice come with a cost.   Do I see my life in disappointment while admiring the world or anyone else? No! I look down on all things as they are beneath me, because I have God. Can Archangels feel disappointment in themselves? Never! Why? Because they have God, who makes them what they are. God is the jackpot of all jackpots, and this jackpot does not disappoint. The decisions made by these powerful individuals or collectives can profoundly shape the capabilities a society enjoys — and the insecurities it endures.   A leader can decide to wage war and turn a country into a militarized state, or a leader can choose peace and bring rest to a weary nation. One influential person — or a small group — can determine the fate and security of millions, even billions.   The great deception of the devil — and of those who walk in his ways — is to make us believe they are wise, powerful, and intelligent. That is why their first strategy is psychological warfare. They want us to think they are mighty, strategic, and complex. In doing so, they sow fear in our hearts, weaken our faith, and cause us to overthink everything. Eventually, we abandon the foundation Jesus laid for us and begin adopting their methods. From there, they mock us and play us like fools — not because they are wise, but because we start behaving foolishly.   There is a reason why the quality of our faith and the faithfulness of believers have deteriorated: the way of heaven and God has been replaced by the way of earth and man. Our focus used to be on the anointing of the Holy Spirit and following God’s guidance. But when we fell, our debates shifted to which human system is superior. Some argue for democratic or collective models, others for visionary leadership. Some defend elder-led systems, others pastoral ones. But the right answer is faith led by the Holy Spirit. If God is truly with us, if He is our Lord and we are His humble servants — not overlords — then He will lead us. That alone is the right way.     It is our nature to gravitate toward the norm, and that’s why corporate culture and the socialization process matter. Take a lazy and disobedient boy and place him in a real military academy — not the kind that treats people like cannon fodder — and you’ll find he becomes disciplined, hardworking, and responsible. Put a lazy person among diligent workers, and social pressure, both reward and correction, will slowly reshape him. But if you place an honest, hardworking person among the corrupt and lazy, they will torment him until he either leaves or they find a way to push him out.
