Remember You Are an Eagle of Heaven (Edited with ChatGPT)
The great deception of the devil —
and of those who walk in his ways — is to make us believe they are wise,
powerful, and intelligent. That is why their first strategy is psychological
warfare. They want us to think they are mighty, strategic, and complex. In doing
so, they sow fear in our hearts, weaken our faith, and cause us to overthink
everything. Eventually, we abandon the foundation Jesus laid for us and begin
adopting their methods. From there, they mock us and play us like fools — not
because they are wise, but because we start behaving foolishly. All war is
rooted in deception, and deception is the favorite weapon of every fool. And
these deceivers? They are the greatest fools of all.
The moment you see them for what
they truly are — worthless, without moral foundation, lacking any real
strategy, and operating only with the illusion of power — is the moment you
realize the emperor has no clothes. They are not good at what they do. In fact,
their work is ugly and clumsy. When you stand firmly on the truth, their lies
look pathetic. When you walk in honesty, their deception is exposed as cheap
and weak. They stir up winds and hurricanes, but you are called to fly above
them like an eagle. Look down from heaven’s heights — they cannot reach the
heights you soar. If you look up to them in fear or admiration, or if you try
to fight their wind with your own counter wind, they will drag you into the
abyss. So, fly high to heaven and remember: they are powerless.
What does this mean? It means you
cannot fight their wind with more wind. They lie — so you must speak the truth.
Fly high. They hate — so you must love. Fly high. They persecute you — so you
must pray for them. Fly high. Let your standard be heaven’s, and let them stir
the dust below. Your truth will fight for you. Your love will fight for you.
Your integrity will fight for you. Your holiness will fight for you. And above
all, God will fight for you.
They must fight for their lies
with more lies. You need only speak the truth. They are unjust — so be just.
They must maintain their injustice with more corruption, but your justice will
bring you peace. They lack integrity — so be blameless. Your integrity will
dismantle theirs while building you up. They try to dress sin as holiness, lies
as truth, immorality as virtue, and injustice as justice. But what you have is
the rising sun of righteousness — shining ever brighter and warming your soul.
If you fight liars with lies, the unjust with injustice, or the unethical with
more evil, then you are just competing with devils in their own game. And trust
me, they are better at it. Fly high. Stay steady. Keep a cool spirit. Do not
give them more value than they deserve. Instead, give God all the honor. Fly
high — because you are an eagle.
After all, not even the devil can
act outside of God’s permission. There is no space, dominion, or power beyond
God’s control. Even devils are subject to His authority. God allows their
rebellion for a time — for reasons He alone fully knows and justifies. If
something happens to you, it is not the devil’s power, nor man’s strength — it
is God’s will. Jesus died on the cross, not because Satan triumphed or Rome
prevailed, but because God allowed it. Job suffered, not by the devil’s might,
but by God’s permission. God allowed it.
When the disciples were
persecuted and killed, it was God who allowed the devil to show his nature — so
that we, today, would bear witness to it. Nothing happens outside of God’s
knowledge. Why does God allow suffering? The answer is the same as why He
allowed His only Son to suffer: for the kingdom of heaven. And the kingdom of
heaven is for our salvation.
So if the devil — or anyone — gives
you a hard time, do not see power in weak people, intelligence in fools, or
strategy in the naive. The devil possesses none of these. Instead, ask: Why
has God allowed this? What is He working in me through this trial and
tribulation? God always has a purpose. It is far wiser to seek that purpose
than to make a lion out of a fly. God may be shaping and refining you. Like
gold, you may need to pass through fire. God may be using your suffering and
persecution as a testimony of faith for future generations. He may be
separating the gold from the dross by fire. Focus on what God is creating — not
on how loud the frogs croak. The true might belongs to us. We are the kingdom
of heaven. There is no power greater than what God has placed within us, and we
fear no one but Him.
So when the devil blows his wind,
don’t panic. Fly high. Remember who you are. You are not a pigeon, not a
parrot, not a chicken — you are an eagle. And more than that, you are an eagle
of heaven.
