The unfaithful “word of faith moment”

The word of faith moment is the cancer that is spreading as wildfire into the healthiest part of the body of Christ. Being a sickness to the body of Christ is not the only problem of this doctrine; after all, there is no single church which is having perfectly right theology. What is worst is that it is affecting the best of the best from the body of the lord. It is paining to see people who are very close to the lord being bewitched by such deception of the devil. If you are close to the lord, I am just asking you to consider if you are wrong about this. So, pray about it. Just for once, try to ask the lord for the way forward than trying to proclaim whatever is your will as the will of God. 

 

The ugly form of the word of faith proponents is money worshipers in the name of the prosperity gospel. I do not have much to say about those scavengers of the devil here. The best among the word of faith followers are not money worshipers at all. They are good and sincere Christians that even the devil will be forced to witness for their favor, they are simply beautiful people. Yet, you will be shocked to see them question the authority of the lord like a devil. They are being led to the forbidden fruit by the devil and their hand is almost putting the forbidden fruit into their mouth. I am just trying to make you take your hand off the forbidden fruit so you could save yourself. Besides, what is surprising is not those who adhere to the word of faith moment - being a man who was wrong in almost everything in life, I do understand people do sin here and there –what is surprising to me is those who reject the word of faith do also subscribe to some of its teachings. They reject the devil they know is the devil, yet they do teach some of the words of faith doctrine as truth. I am just trying to open your eye for your benefit so you can reject the devil in its entirety. 

 

When tugs of the church are making the assembly of the lord a den of thieves and money worshipers, in the name of the prosperity gospel, I am ashamed of the faithful who says amen to anything, yet I have no authority to kick them out of the churches. Yet when I start listening word faith theology among the sincerest Christians, who I think are spiritually grown and highly loved by lord, I was sure I have to find the seed of the devil from its genesis. The water source of this damned city has to be found and its needs the salt of the lord to be healed, so people can drink from this water without being barren. So, let us start from the genesis of this sin. 

 

The genesis of the word of faith moment starts with a vision of Kenneth E. Hagin. In one of the visions of Hagin, Hagin is told by someone who pretends to be Jesus “that dominion of the earth is given to born again Christians and lord cannot cast out the devil or control devils by himself unless the faithful take controls of devils and the earth by themselves.” The faith in the idea that all power on the earth is given to the faithful and Jesus cannot intervene is the theological genesis of this sin we call the word of faith moment. The dominion theology, prosperity gospel, and word of faith theology grow from this tree of the devil. The implication is that if there is a devil in your life, Jesus cannot touch him but born-again human beings can. Human beings are in authority, Jesus is not. The conclusion is that Jesus did give this authority to human beings and has no authority over the devil, sickness, and your future for that matter. What matters is your word, “speak the word in faith and it will happen” they conclude. 

 

From this line of reasoning, it is not far from their heart to question lord’s authority in all things. Some say: “If the lord says this, I will question him holding the holy book”. Say you have the constitution and your governor is going against it, what do you do? You have the Constitution and you have the Supreme Court. Then it is one plus one after this, a blind can see the way forward. So, when Jesus says something, and you know he is Jesus, and you think it is against the book, they say “You have to say no” to Jesus because it is written. This is not about using the book to judge evil from good, devil from God, but to challenge God himself, when you know he is God. What a shame! Some say if lord told me: “You will not go to heaven, I will take him to a higher court”. Others say: “If lord told me, I will die today, I will say no because it is written I should live for 100 years”. I hope Job is watching from heaven to say “Wisdom is blessed by her children” and what an affluence of ignorance. I guess they thought Jesus is Trump or Biden, what a shame! Peter, what I am telling you is your way is a way of humans, and do not try to lead the lord, go behind him. Follow the lord, yet never try to lead the lord. 

 

Let me explain: what is wrong with that vision, which is the foundation of this sin. First, the Jesus pretender did not prove his conclusion that dominion on earth is given to man and Jesus cannot do anything about it. His fallacy was missing the point fallacy and he played with ignorance of Hagin to play him with rhetoric. The conclusion that has to be proven is Jesus is not in authority but man is. What he proves is that man can move mountains by word of faith, without asking Jesus. Faithful says “Get out” to the devil and the devil will obey forced by the power of the Holy Spirit and Angels of the lord, the enforcers. The devil, pretending to be Jesus, was right in saying that the faithful do not have to ask Jesus to take the devil out. Human beings have the authority to cast the devil in the name of the lord. Yet no written word says Jesus is not in authority. To say my wife can do things without asking me is one thing, to say she has all authority and me none is another thing. The devil did prove human beings have the authority to cast the devil but there is no proof for the conclusion that Jesus has no authority. I can understand why Hagin may fail to see this, he is just human, yet why do the rest of his followers fail to see this is shameful. This is because: miracles are done in his hand, so you say Amen to everything. What a shame!

 

It is evil to expect people to dominate the earth without Jesus. What is the knowledge of human beings? What is the intelligence of a human being? What is the worth of human beings? For what does a human being count? How can you expect that ignorance of humanity could have supernatural power to destroy life out of ignorance? There is no dividend on this idea, to both God and man, except the devil. What human beings need is not dominance but slavery to Jesus. Let alone to dominate the world, their personal life should be dominated by Jesus, so they could be like Jesus. Lord told Samuel that “The Israelis are questioning my authority” when they demand kings in place of prophets. Lord did not say “They question your authority” to Samuel. Lord was ruling through Samuel. Dominance is of the lord not you. It is not about you; it is about Jesus! Dominance is given to Jesus and you are allowed to be part of that glory. Jesus can cast the devil without your knowledge, but Jesus preferred to do it through you for your glory and to show the devil the gates of hell cannot hold the church. To think you have authority without Jesus is simply shameful. What a shame!

 

Let me put my perspective so I can guide you out of darkness to light. The book says “What you lock in the earth will be locked in heaven, and what you open in earth will be opened in heaven”. It also says “Who you forgive, I will forgive and who you curse, I will curse”. This is the authority of the church and even every faithful. Now you need to imagine the hell this power can create in heaven and earth. Human ignorance leading the way in heaven and earth is nothing but a recipe for disaster. God does know human wisdom is nothing. Have a small trace of wisdom and a small eye of spirit to see that this power needs supervision, so lord says about himself “I lock and nobody can open, I open and nobody can lock”. This means that the lord’s plan is not about letting your ignorance and stupidity lead the way forward to inevitable hell, it is about making you part of God’s kingdom.  

 

This means: lord found outlaws, forgive them, train them to be law-abiding citizens, and make them police and judge of their neighborhood to expand law and order in every neighborhood. As judges who they condemn is condemned by law, who they forgive is forgiven by law, who they set free is free by law and what they rule is the rule of the land. Yet, does this demand even any intelligence to understand this process will create hell without checks and balances? That is why you have higher courts and the Supreme Court for checks and balances. Jesus is the Supreme Court. Jesus is not only the Supreme Court but also by being inside your heart, he is judging even at a local level through you. Now imagine: who will teach lower courts that they have all power without the check and balances of the Supreme Court? Who will be bewitching them to believe this, despite their ignorance and incompetence? Who will benefit and who will lose in this process? Only a mobster or a thug will play around with the ignorance of the lower courts to make them feel like supreme authority; to make them clash with the authority of the Supreme Court in heaven. This teaching is from the devil, specifically a fallen angel.

 

Now let us see how the flashflood took over them then after and let us explain how they end up looking like children of the devil than children of God that they truly are. Imagine you have dominance and when you speak in faith, it happens. Remember there is no supervision of your powers and your rulings by God, you have dominance. Imagine this ignorance is true. So, the logical conclusion is that:

 

“Watch your words. Don’t say I am sick, don’t say I am poor, don’t say I am ignorant, don’t say any negative things about you. Otherwise, they will become true. Like God says: “Let it be light” and light happens, when you say you are rich, wealth rains on you. Say I am healthy, and health is your refuge. Watch your words and believe what you say then you are what you say.”  

Common have common sense, if not knowledge of God. Lord is raising children and his wish is good for you, yet buying and giving you everything you ask is not the way to raise you. That will make you the spoiled brat that the followers of the word of faith are becoming. Do you see why it shook people to their core to know what you say, it always happens when a spoiled brat is seen by people addressing his parents. Besides, brother if you are healthy when you think as such it is because Jesus approves it, otherwise don’t tell me your word is more powerful than Paul, who has to suffer in pain while building the church from the bottom up. Lord gave you what you wish because he loves you not because your mouth is a pandora's box planted to send the world to hell. Who knows what comes from your ignorant mind-led mouth, and who in his right mind allows your foolish mouth to have such unbounded power?

 

Now let me focus on the most important question: is there scriptural evidence to back the word of faith theology? My answer is: there is none! Remember everyone says I follow the bible and everyone disagrees then after. The best thing would be if the bible is explained by the spirit of God, yet two churches that are led by the spirit of the lord are observed having two different conclusions in this matter. You can see the manifestation of the power of the lord in both, you can see those people are godly people who look like Jesus, and their fruit is beautiful, yet they are opposite in this point. So, I am sure God is not talking on this issue to one side but is watching us to see what we will do. I am hoping the spirit of the lord takes a stand soon in this issue. Yet until then, the best tool we have is to see the bible in its totality and understand it from that point of view.

 

They say it is written “Hell and heaven are in the tongue of man”, “What you harvest is what you saw by your tongue”, and “Man is as he thinks inside his mind”. You could also add lord said: “When you do it in faith without doubt and you order the tree to be planted in the sea, it will obey”. Lord even said: “You can do a lot of things if you have no doubt and believe it happened”. What do those quotations mean? A word of faith person will believe they mean the fate of the world and humanity hangs in his/her tongues. What about we try a common-sense interpretation? I am saying common sense because you do not need wisdom for this one unless you are bewitched by the devil pretending to be Jesus.

 

You bless people with your tongue, you curse people with your tongue, you make friends of people with your tongue, you make enemies of people with your tongue, you make friends of powerful by your tongue, you make enemies of powerful by your tongue, you become a friend of the lord by your tongue and you become enemy of the lord by your tongue, you preach the word by your tongue and you blaspheme against lord by your tongue. Hell, and heaven, in this life and the afterlife, are in your tongue and it is written everything you spoke in this world will be accounted in judgment day against or for you. Does this explain why heaven and earth are in your tongue and what you harvest is what you saw by your tongue? Watch your tongue not because you are god but because your tongue has consequences in earth and heaven.

 

The Bible also says a man is as he thinks inside his heart (mind). First God sees you not by your action but by your intention. If you wish to have the wife of another man, you commit the sin of adultery even if you did not engage in the action. Why? Because lord knows you are incapable of being in most things, your action which is a combined result of your will and capability is not a good indicator of who you are. As incapable being you are who you are inside your heart. A poor man who truly thinks day and night to give money to lord gave money to the lord and a rich man who gave money without being happy about it did not give money. This is the way of heaven. Your intentions are who are you, not your actions. This system does not work for the human judge but for the lord who can see the heart and way of every creation- man, angel, and devil – as looking into transparent glass is easy to follow and is effective. In the eye of God, you are what you think inside your heart (mind). Is this explanation plausible and consistent with the bible?

 

Let me add another piece of evidence to back me up. Jesus, when he was on this earth, did not present himself as equal to God but took a form of a slave and present himself as inferior to the lord, the Father. Does this make him inferior or superior at last? If you think that your tongue is important, what about the tongue of Jesus? When they call him a “kind teacher”, he told them “The only kind one is heavenly father”. Does Jesus become cruel then after? Lord ordered us “After giving service in the name of the lord, take a lower sit and say ‘I am an unworthy slave who did his task’”, does this make us superior beings or inferior beings? Paul said “Say in humility that ‘my brother is superior to me’”, does this make us inferior or superior to our brother? Word faith moment is upside-down logic. The way of heaven is the way of humbling yourself in sight of the lord, the faithful, and the world, so lord can raise you above everything. It is not about boasting about yourself, it is about taking a lower sit. Your trust should be on the lord’s oversight not on your ignorant tongue.

 

Is there further evidence to show that Jesus is in control and word of faith is wrong? Yes, our good Paul is the evidence. Paul was a sick person and actually, there is independent evidence about his sickness, besides what is provided in the bible. Paul did not use his tongue to get healthy, he asked the lord for health. Lord told him: “My power works in weakness”. Lord did not tell him “You have dominance and I have none, speak the word”, lord told him your sickness is my will. God’s will is what is ruling the life of Paul, the life of Paul is not ruled by his tongue. How can you ignore this evidence in the bible to say you are the result of your tongue? Did not lord love Paul to make him sick? Lord did love Paul. Yet, Paul has a pride problem and to keep his pride in check, the lord was keeping him sick. The choice was between proud Paul losing his way or sick Paul saving his soul. And, the Lord has chosen to save his soul. Lord does not like pride, yet he loved Paul. 

 

There is also additional evidence from the spiritual father of this sin, Kenneth E. Hagin himself. His wife is sick from breast cancer. I was expecting him to order the cancer spirit, with unquestionable faith, to leave his wife. After all, he claims that he has power – the right word is AUTHORITY over the cancer spirit. Besides, he can easily work on the faith and will of his wife to allow him and her to exercise their authority on the spirit of cancer without any challenge. What he did, however, is what I would do as a powerless commoner. He prayed to lord for her health and he get his wishes from the lord! The one who is labeled “powerless” lord comes and told him the good news. Then the good wife is healthy and Jesus is able to prove that he is not powerless but has all the power in this earth. But Hagin did not have the eye to see this and his followers are not wise enough to question his theology either.

 

After making my point that the word of faith moment is wrong theology, let me address the elephant in the room. The good question is: is Kenneth E. Hagin led by the devil? I don’t think Kenneth E. Hagin is devil’s own. I do think he did have a higher call for heavenly work. Yet he has dispositions which are ungodly and which are intolerable insight of God. The first of those dispositions is disobedience to the will of God, the second is a love of wealth, and the third one is an evil desire to challenge God by word of God, as all his followers nowadays try to do. When lord told him about faith and its outcome, he did not try to obey but was responding the same thing again and again to the lord like a spoiled brat. There is an obedience problem visible here. His desire for wealth and comfort when lord calls him for a higher call is amusing and the lord did warn him to be careful about money. When he was a child, he did challenge God by his word and kept saying “If the word is true, I must be healed because I believe it, otherwise the bible is a lie”. You can see how those who challenge the lord get their heart pumped to question the lord everywhere, their spiritual father did it first. But if your spiritual father is Jesus, you know right from wrong not to say those things. This man of God has dispositions that the lord is not able to correct. He, therefore, is left into the hand of the devil to lead him and his minions in the devil's way.

 

My understanding, about him, is that there are visions that he is given by God and there are visions that are given to him by the devil. King Saul has a higher calling and was blessed by God and was given a spirit of God; yet was oppressed by the devil when he becomes disobedient. I think the same happens for this man. I do think most of his early encounters are from God. I even think when his wife was sick, the visit that he had was from the lord. I think the lord does not hate him, but I am sure the lord cannot tolerate him. Even though he knows lord, he did not honor the lord as the lord must be honored. So, he is left to follow the worthless passions of this earth and left to be deceived by the devil, a fallen Angel pretending to be a Jesus.  

 

How do I know this man is bewitched by the devil? Because I have literary seen the devil and I have observed and listened to the devil in great detail in extended time to understand the way of the devil. I have seen how they deceive us, how they create fights, how they control us, how they lie, and I have seen them eye to eye and face to face. Then I try to read his demonology and his demonology is nothing but a joke. This Jesus pretender is the author of this demonology and it does not take much to see who is who. Imagine you spend years in the jungle with monkeys and you have no option but to know more about their way. Then imagine someone starts explaining a monkey as something that has a horn, roars like a lion, and is the king of the jungle, you will be sure either this man does not know the jungle or is a liar. The spirit knows spirits, so for sure, he was a liar, a devil.

 

The only sensible talk out of their demonology that I found to be true is the prescription which says “Don’t talk to devils when you cast them out”. Churches are allowing devils to build their theology because they learn from the devil. The devil tells them I am TPLF spirit, I am the queen of the north, I am ancestral spirit, and soon, and they develop demonology out of it. What I tell you is what I saw and what I know, you don’t know the way of the devil. So don’t let them speak! This is the only one in their demonology which is right, the rest is a white lie.

 

To go to my last interpretation of the scripture. Imagine you are making a judgment; do you make a judgment with authority or with doubt? A true judge is sure by default that his judgment will be enforced by law enforcement and does not speak with doubt. If a judge says “I judge you for 2 years in prison and this will be enforced if the police will enforce it”, the third-word police will be happy to exercise their corrupt discretion toward law enforcement but first-world police will laugh at the doubt of the judge. Now imagine your law enforcement is Holy Spirit, and your God is fulfilling your wish for your empowerment against the devil, do you think he will enjoy your doubt? Lord told us for our word to be enforced to do it without doubt and to believe as it is done. This is the way of heaven. So, what is the difference between me and the theology of the devil? I think we become lower courts and we have a supreme court above our head to supervise us; while they think lord has no power on earth and we have dominion on earth. Why do they believe this? Because a man of miracle told them too. If the infants in spirit are deceived by the miracles of local spiritual fathers, those mature ones are bewitched by their international spiritual fathers.

 

There is more I need to say about demonian theology which is a by-product of such stupidity called word of faith moment. We are called to serve not to dominate. We are supposed to be insulted, prosecuted, rejected, and hunted for Jesus when the time is night. We have to work day and night to lead the mass to salvation in the time of day when we can work easily. Our call is the call of service not domination. We serve so the word of God can dominate and Jesus can dominate the world. In heaven the superior beings serve and inferior beings are served, that is why Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Heavenly Father, and the Angles of light serve us. We, the worthless dirt, are served because we are spiritually infant. Where there is true love, this is true. Look at yourself and your children: you serve your kids when they are kids. You are superior to them but they are served until maturity. Yet I have to come to this issue with another post. There is much to say about the prosperity gospel of the untouchable clan. If Word of Faith has mobsters like dominance theology, it also has street thugs who cry day and night nothing about money and prosperity. Those are the lowly kind of beings, who show you that poverty is an ugly sin. Imagine: if poverty can create such monsters in the house of the lord, what kind of monsters it is creating in the sinful world itself? Yet I have to come to this again, with another post.
