As it is written, if I saw evil in your life and I don’t remind you about it, your blood will be in my hand; but if I remind you, I am pure from your blood. This is true no matter what you decide to do afterward. You could say I will not listen to you but God. That is your free will. After all, the lord did not order me to teach you this either. I do so because I can. I do it to be on the safe side of the lord. Because it is written some pastors do not know they are pastors of the lord. That being said, in this post, I will focus on a few popular fallacies, given the church is being invaded by several human fallacies.   The first fallacy says: that we know the will of God. The very essence of this idea is that God is good, especially to faithful and the implication is that the will of God toward us is health, wealth, prosperity, good life, and Eden (happiness). Let us imagine a different world. What if we have a temple of the Holy Spirit which is clean on the inside more than it is on the outside? Is it too much to ask: if we demand for the cup to be cleaner on the inside more than it is on the outside? What if the Lord told us: “Your means are meager but you are rich” rather than telling us “You have a name for being alive and you claim to be rich, yet you are poor”? What if we dream of planting Jesus and his ways in the life of every faithful rather than having mega-churches everywhere that preach material life? Which one is more valuable: a mega-church with spiritually infant members or spiritually mature faithful who assemble under a tree? What if we pray for the wisdom of the lord so we can serve right, than for power or wealth? What if lord says to us: “You did not ask for power or wealth but for wisdom, so I will give you more of wealth and power”? What if our role model, the perfect faithful that we try to imitate, at best is Jesus at...

When Jesus was on this earth, he did not try to control the economic power of the society. He never tries to take hold of political power. He just preached the truth and worked day and night to plant the seed of the world of God in every fertile heart prepared by the Father. I know Jesus does not have a theology degree. I am sure Jesus does not have a Ph. D. in divinity or a degree in anthropology. Yet I am sure, Jesus was not an average carpenter but the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is expressed in Jesus and Jesus is the presentation of the very wisdom of God. Shall we learn from Jesus and his ways or shall we try to lead Jesus with our ways?    Jesus worked day and night to show us what the temple of the Holy Spirit should look like. Once the Holy Spirit is given, the most significant work of the Holy Spirit is to build the temple of God in the image of Jesus. That is the most important work of the lord. For most of us the transformation from being a de jure member of a religious organization, though we were free spirit or traditionally religious person in de facto, to being a faithful follower of the lord is about leaving fairytales and misconceptions, in which we grow up, behind us and marching to the faith of the lord, where the lord is worshiped in truth and spirit. Yet, slowly we are welcomed with new fairytales and misconceptions, not written in Geez but written in English. We desire to learn the pure bible, yet we are lectured with useless, at best, and deceiving, at worst, supplementary material.   This is a symptom of the problem, yet a solution is to be found in the cause of the problem.
