In this world but not from this world
We cannot judge harshly a frog in a
hole for thinking that the size of heaven is equal to the size of the hole. The
frog is wrong but how could it know better? The best thing we can do is take
the frog out of the hole and let her see the size of heaven. The small frog, in
a small hole, with a small imagination of the heavens is this small world of
ours. The world at best can judge things the way they perceive it and at worst
will see things through distorted glass of pure lie. That it is the world
sleeping in its illusion or seeking the truth through its earthly eye.
The faithful is in the world but does
not belong to the world. As spirit is in the body but is not from the body, the
faithful is in the world but does not belong to the world. The Spirit of the
world is mostly dormant but when you are born again your spirit is born again.
So, when the spirit leads the body, salvation happens, but when the body leads
the spirit sin happens. Since you have an eye that can see beyond the hole and
a spirit that can see through the mind of the lord, the faithful is not
expected to judge things by what s/he sees and what s/he hears, because s/he
has the heart of Jesus, spirit of Jesus, eye of Jesus, ear of Jesus and mind of
Jesus guiding him/her to perfection.
This is why a faithful, born-again
Christian, is not supposed to see heaven from the hole but from the eye of the
lord and mind of the lord. Our goal, our way, our thinking, our behavior, and
our way of life need to be shaped by the larger heaven that we don’t see not by
the hole that we can perceive. This is the problem of children Jacob with God.
Lord is taking a longer time to build them, shape them, grow them, and perfect
them into the nation of priests to evangelize the whole world through them.
They are the firstborn of God, yet God’s promise was beyond them to the whole
world.
God is making them see things from his
eye, his heart, his heaven, and his eternal truth, but they see the world from
their hole. They see to the North West, they see the glory of Phoenicians; they
see to the North, they see world powers of Assyria and Babylon; and when they
see to the South, they see the everlasting civilization of Egypt. They saw
heaven as worthless and small, as a result, and they tried to be buried in the
dirt of the hole so they could avoid the sight of heaven in front of their eye.
This is the history of the children of Jacob for most of their history.
That is why the lord made sure they
could not understand prophecy by blinding their sight and blocking their ear
because God needed a new covenant. He did not stop by breaking the stick of
unity between the children of Jacob but also by breaking the stick of beauty.
When the lord broke the stick of beauty, they decided his value was 30 silver
coins. They found the lord worthless and unattractive and decided to kill him
by buying his disciple for 30 silver coins. When the lord came as an ugly and
sick king, though their eye was blinded by the expectation of a king marching
in shining armor, they found him unattractive and a messianic pretender and
decided to kill him.
Their mind was blinded and their ear
was blocked because the lord was angry and wanted to punish them for their sin
and the sin of their forefathers. They are told to have a kingdom that
dominates all kingdoms, where they live as kings and the world serves their
needs. What they see is sinful Jews dominating the world. This is the beauty
they desire. Yet the meaning of the prophecy is that they would be high priests
of the world, as holy people in faith and manner. Charging 10% of the world,
they were supposed to live as a nation of priests. They were supposed to be
like Levi, the firstborn in faith, who opens the womb, and who is given to God.
A priest of God was supposed to have a
word of God in his lips, holiness in his manners, and perfection in his way.
Justice, love, faith, and a servant attitude were expected but they kept
feeding themselves while not attending the sheep. They are fat and comfortable;
the sheep are lost in the hands of foxes. Yet they did not look to heaven to be
like heaven, they wanted their sinful person to be kings of the world. They
want dominance, power, lordship, wealth, and every beauty they desire. That is
why as the firstborn status of children of Jacob is taken from Reuben to Levi,
who is the firstborn in the eye of the lord. The first-born status of Israel is
lost to the second-born citizens of heaven from Jews and the world. Yet as the
salvation of Levi is to guide Reuben and his brothers to the kingdom of God,
the salvation of the born-again faithful from Jew and the world is finally for the
salvation of all children of Jacob and the lost world, who does not know the
lord.
I know the lord is going to save the
Jews and also the lost world. How? That is God’s problem. And, what do I know?
But I know the word of the lord will not go back to the lord without fruit.
Since we know the lord can think for himself and knows what he is doing, and
since what is impossible in our sight is not impossible in the sight of the
lord, let us ignore such issues as it is above our level of security clearance.
What is important is salvation of the
Jew is part of our work. But it is a small part of our big work. Our main work
is to preach the gospel to the whole world and to recommend all faithful to
keep the commandments of the lord after they are born again. This is our main
mission and part of this mission is the salvation of the Jew. But it also
includes the salvation of the Arabs, salvation of Palestine, salvation of the
Kush, the salvation of Chinese, the salvation of Koreans, salvation of Latin
America, salvation of the Indians, salvation of the Russians, the salvation of
Europeans, salvation of North and Central America, and soon.
We have to introduce all those, and
especially the Jew, to the way of the lord. The Jews for us are the Samarians,
and we are the good Jews who saved them after the robbers left them for dead.
We are saving the falling and left-for-dead Samarian, however, does not mean we
have to learn his/her worship of idols and his/her ways in this world. If their
ways were perfect, they would not be in this position but as priests of the
lord evangelizing the whole world. They are spread to the whole world for their
sin and yet the world was not better either. Than helping them with love to
know their father better, the world hunted them for whatever nonsense they
believed at that time. Thank God, those dark days are ending and their time of
salvation is very near. It is clear the era of the world is ending and the ear
of the children of Jacob is coming back. We used to see them sawing 10 and
harvesting 1 in the past, and in recent decades they are sawing 1 and
harvesting 10. It is a clear indication, that their time is coming soon. Yet,
this is not the approval of the Jew, it is the approval of God who is merciful.
This is not justification for who they are, it is justification for who they
could be when they know Jesus Christ is the Lord.
God is not justifying the Jew, as the
lord does not justify a sinner. Lord is justifying the sinner who can be saved
in the future. Let us assume you and your wife are not born again. And, your
wife is sick until the lord heals her. Your wife is not healed because of her
holiness or justification. She is healed, so she can know the power of the Holy
and justified God. This miracle justifies God but does not justify the way of
the sinner, in this case, your wife. So you don’t preach the way of the wife in
church, you teach to the wife and the church the way of the lord. Yet the funny
thing is that churches keep teaching us about the ways of this prostitute
Israel as perfection. What a shame!
The punishment, dispersion, and
collection of Israel are the hands of God showing to Israel and to the world
that God Abraham is in charge. It justifies God, not the sinner Israel. We
should teach Israel the way of God, with love and understanding, as mature
brothers guiding young brothers. Yet our understanding in churches is that the
collection of Israel is justifying the sinner Israel and we preach her sinful
ways to the whole world as a virtue. Yet, we should have been teaching this
unfaithful Israel the way of her father. This is what is wrong with churches
and Israel. Whatever sins and crimes that are done by Israel are justified in
churches and we are not becoming their older brother, but a dump supporting a
dumper. We are not honoring God. Sin is sin, crime is a crime, wrong is wrong
and we cannot support all that in the name of anybody.
The manner of the church should be
both to protect and teach Israel the way of her father. The image of God is not
Moses, it is not David, it is not Abraham and it is not even Paul or Peter, it
is Jesus Christ. We should teach them the way of Jesus, so they can learn to
live in peace with everyone and to have the love of God and the love of their
fellow faithful as perfect law of God. In churches, the manner, however, is to
support everything done by Israel and to oppose everything done against Israel.
God is trying to clean them, yet churches are justifying their sin. Let alone
Israel, we can judge Angels because we know the perfection of God in Jesus
Christ. Are we not worth enough to say sin is sin, evil is evil, and good is
good?
God is justifying Jesus Christ to the
world and Israel. That is why we should teach the way of Jesus Christ to the
world and Israel. What we are doing in reality, however, is to justify the way
of Israel to the faithful. If the lord loved their way, they should have been a
priest nation by now. Lord loved one Jew and he is Jesus Christ and we should
teach them the way of Jesus Christ while protecting them. We should not justify
them because the lord does not justify them, the lord is justifying the lord
Jesus Christ, not the Israel.
Yes, Israel has mortal enemies, who
could love losing land for “foreigners”. Yet it happened because the word of
God cannot be void and we know they are not foreigners unless all Middle
Eastern religions are all lie. Yet darkness is not won by darkness but by
light. Living in the middle of enemies to believe your might will protect you
forever is stupidity. Thinking you can oppress people forever and you can live
in peace forever is naivety. That is why the people of Israel need to work hard
to turn enemies into friends, by having moral virtues, justice, kindness,
mercy, and love which builds friends at the bottom. Only light can defeat
darkness as no darkness can retreat darkness.
Whatever their choice is, however, to
label anything done by Israel as just and everything done against Israel as sin
is justifying Israel against Jesus himself. Do we worship Jesus or Israel? We
should protect them as old brother protects young brother with guidance and
moral education, we should not worship our young brothers who do not know their
right from the left. What is the way of the lord? What would Jesus say to those
who crucify him? He prayed for their forgiveness. How can we worship such a God
and still keep justifying the sin of this young boy? We should teach the young
boy better manners because he does not know his father. A frog in a hole may
think this is a nave idea, but I am sure Jesus is neither nave nor dead. Do we
trust Jesus or do we trust guns?
What about the Land, which is promised
to Israel? If God promises them a land, it is up to God to give them. I do not
know which land is promised to whom, as the devil is to be found in the detail.
I am not going to debate which land is promised to whom. My problem is in the
role of the faithful in this process. Jesus told us to love enemies, to pray
for those who hunt us, and to feed our enemy when he is hungry. So, why are we
cheering the killing, suffering, pain, and despair of people? Jesus is a judge
and can judge anything to anyone. I am not going to tell God what is right and
what is wrong. My problem is in our role in this process. Who are we? How are
we supposed to behave in this world?
Should we support sin, suffering, pain, and inhuman treatment of people so prophecy should be attained? Jesus did make a prophecy for the Jews that they should suffer after their crime against him. Are we supposed to hunt Jews for the prophecy, or should we have prayed for them, trying to reconcile them with Jesus? Which one is more of Jesus? Hunting the Jews for their sins so prophecy can be fulfilled or helping them and praying for them? Which one would the lord love? Now think of Palestine, what would the lord love to see from us? You faithful do not know Jesus at all. If Jesus wants to destroy Palestine, Jesus can do it and it is just. Jesus is God and king, but I am a servant who is not a judge or God. My role is to imitate the way of Jesus to friends and enemies. How prophecy should be fulfilled is God’s problem. If God wants to give the Jew the whole world, God can and it is up to God to make it happen. My role is to be the right faithful and imitate Jesus. Cheerleading the destruction of people is not a Christen virtue at all and you are not honoring God by that. What it shows is that you don’t know who you worship. You don’t know Jesus.
