“We” is not for our slavery but for our fulfillment

In the old covenant of Israel and the lord, the lord used intermediaries between him and his people. In this era, the temple curtains were used to separate those who could get closer to the Lord and the people. When the Lord gave his life for our salvation, however, the curtain of the temple was cut into two. In the new covenant of the lord with the world, therefore, there is no curtain between the lord and every faithful, as every faithful becomes a temple of the lord. Everyone who has the spirit of the lord is a temple of the lord and is granted to have salvation without question. If you don’t have the spirit of the lord, however, you will face the final judgment of the lord according to your work, as it is written.

In this process, we need to understand why unity with other faithful is necessary and why the lord cares about us not as independent individuals but as collectives. The lord is not comparable to us. His intelligence, holiness, and might are without bound; yet he is living in us who are highly bounded in everything. That is why the only one who can manifest God to us is God himself. The only one who can perfectly carry his name is the lord Jesus Christ, who is God.

The problem is that the temple of the Lord is not only Jesus Christ, as we are also temples of the lord. We are not intelligent enough, enlightened enough, godly enough, holy enough, and capable enough to manifest God in its entirety, and still, the lord has to live inside us and we have to manifest the way of God in our life. What God did to solve this problem is to divide his nature among us. In some people, he develops the gift of prophecy, while keeping other capabilities less developed. In other people he develops the gift of teaching; in other people gift of healing; in other people gift of advice and consulting; in other people gift of over watching; in other people gift of worship; and so on. This is not enough, the lord also has to live inside us to guide each and everything we do, talk, and be for 24/7.

Those are what the lord did and what we have to do are three things. The first thing that we have to do is to have faith in the lord to be born again in spirit. This will allow the lord to make us holy by faith and to make us his temple by living inside us, as the lord lives in a holy temple only. The second thing that we have to do is to have unquestionable obedience to the will of the spirit of the lord by denying ourselves and everything we think we have. The third thing that we must have is unity of purpose and soul with our fellow faithful, expressed in the love of our brothers and sisters as ourselves.

All laws of God can be compiled into two laws. Love of God and love of our fellow faithful. Faith in the lord and obedience to the lord are the result of unwavering love and knowledge of God. Love of our fellow faithful is the second law. If you do those things and they are growing over time, the door of heaven will be widely open to you and you will not stumble in your faith to produce an abundant fruit for the lord.

When we are in the lord, when our life is guided by the lord, and when we have love and cooperation among each other, the full nature of God can manifest in our collective. A prophet without a teacher, a teacher without a healer, a healer without a consultant, a consultant without an elder, an elder without over watcher is at best crippled and handicapped Jesus, and at worst is a horrifying monster of the devil. We cannot be good enough because none of us is Jesus Christ.

Say the lord used you to open the eyes of a blind, then if you keep shouting for hours about “how the spirit of the lord makes a difference in people’s status” to demonstrate your improved status now, you are a waste of the gift of God. If a good teacher then explain how the miracles are not about you but about Jesus Christ to make them accept Jesus as lord. Then if the church community accepts the faithful to develop them in spirit toward the lord, the mission of the lord is fulfilled. When you honor the lord, with love, the lord will honor you with more and more gifts, as it is written.

This is an assembly of the lord and love is very important. Without love, there is no assembly and there is no full presence of God. God may do miracles, God may use some to teach, God may use some to make prophecy, and soon, but all this is to preserve the churches from self-destruction. God hates what is planted by a devil, but to keep the good it will tolerate the evil. At the right time, however, the lord will weed the evil from the good, the one which is planted by the devil from what is planted by God.

This is why there is “we” in the sight of the lord, not “I”. What matters, however, is not going to collectives and having a church, per se. The “we” for sure is not to build a curtain between the faithful and God, in the form of churches. The “we” is to make us complete in sight of the lord in love. What is important is not going to church but having unity of purpose and spirit. The problem is: if you don’t assemble in one location, when possible, and if you don’t have a continuous connection, when possible, how can you have unity of purpose and spirit? Church or assembly, therefore, is an instrument of our unity and our collective function in the name of the lord; it is not a curtain between us and God.

If a prophet opens the eye of people with prophecy but there is no one to teach them about Jesus; if people are willing to accept Jesus as lord but there is no one to cast a devil out of them; if people are free of evil spirits, but nobody is there to baptize them in water and spirit; if people are born again, but nobody is teaching them over time to create the image of Jesus in their life; if people are growing in spirit, but don’t have people who share their happiness, pain, and suffering, and people who can advise them and share their burden; if people are having faithful assembly but elderly and over watchers are not guiding and watching them, the entire process is a simply wasteful process. This is why we need to work as one, for one purpose, for one spirit and one lord. Church is not a curtain between God and us, it is God’s instrument for our fulfillment.

If you collect heart, lung, brain, bone, stomach, and every other body part in one jar, it does not become a body. To become a body it needs to be assembled into a unified body with breath and spirit. So collecting people in one place is not what is important, what is important is that they specialize in different gifts of God and work for one single purpose, which is the preservation and growth of the body of Christ. A heart without a lung is a useless meal of animals (the devil). The unity and slavery to each other of heart and lung is not for slavery but for the fulfillment of both. The heart works for the entire body, the lung works for the entire body, the brain works for the entire body and so on with full unity of purpose and full dedication and this will serve for fulfillment of all and growth of all with full health.
