Start with the lord Jesus Christ

Faith, on the lordship of Jesus Christ, needs to be built on the foundation of prophets and disciples, for the lord being the chief cornerstone and the foundation rock upon which everything stands firm. We are the temple of the lord and building of the lord; as the Holy Spirit judges us worth enough, through the blood of Jesus, to be his temple. This building of the lord, for its structural stability, needs to be built on a solid foundation, which is the life and teaching of Jesus Christ, the lord. Anyone who listens to the word of the Lord Jesus Christ and who obeys his commandments is built on solid foundational rock and is wise for that. A wind will come and a rain will follow but this house will stand firm because it is not built on sand, but on the solid rock, Jesus Christ himself.   Upon this foundation rock, the building’s boundary is demarked and the main foundation of the building is laid using the chief coroner stone(s) as the main foundation stone(s). All about elders of the faith and peace

It is wise for any house builder to calculate his expected cost in comparison to his wealth before deciding to build a house. The house that is being built is peace and the problem I see is in the adequacy of the resources at hand. The resources we have are God, the word of God, and elders of the faith, respectively. Peace can be built by God and the word of God, with the support of elders of the faith. The elders of the faith are useful when the lord works through them and when they have the substance of a good elder of the faith who is guided by the good book, not when they rely on themselves, their wit, and their knowledge, and when they lack the substance of a good elder of the faith. I am not...

Our children are not really ours!

Let us ignore the kingdom of heaven for a while and let us think as any good parent. If you unconditionally love your children from the depth of your heart, as any real parent should be, even though you do desire to see your children grow to full adulthood, so they can make their own choices, there are things you will never allow them to choose otherwise. Dropping from school is not an option for a good parent, for example. Could we say: if a child wishes s/he can skip school? Never! Why? Because we are very sure that is a death sentence in his/her future. We, therefore, will never allow them to destroy their future by their immature choices. That is why every good parent will stand his ground on the issue of school, no matter what the kids want or think they want.       Now think hell, do you believe hell is real? What about heaven and the kingdom of God? If we care that much about school and if we invest most of our income in children's school, how much sh...
