Our children are not really ours!

Let us ignore the kingdom of heaven for a while and let us think as any good parent. If you unconditionally love your children from the depth of your heart, as any real parent should be, even though you do desire to see your children grow to full adulthood, so they can make their own choices, there are things you will never allow them to choose otherwise. Dropping from school is not an option for a good parent, for example. Could we say: if a child wishes s/he can skip school? Never! Why? Because we are very sure that is a death sentence in his/her future. We, therefore, will never allow them to destroy their future by their immature choices. That is why every good parent will stand his ground on the issue of school, no matter what the kids want or think they want.    

 

Now think hell, do you believe hell is real? What about heaven and the kingdom of God? If we care that much about school and if we invest most of our income in children's school, how much should we care about their eternal life? Do we care: if our kids go to hell or not? What about becoming part of the kingdom of heaven? Are those issues less important than education? Why do we invest more in kid’s education but less in their faith and spiritual growth? Why do we invest more in providing for their body, by working hard, but we invest less in their character, development, behavior, and faith? It is because this flesh is more real to us than the spiritual world which is ruled by the kingdom of heaven. We are spiritual infants on matters of faith. We, therefore, are losing our kids to hellfire due to our spiritual ignorance. We have spiritual illiteracy and this is part of our adult education. This is your spiritual A, B, C.

 

Remember your kids, which are not really yours, did not choose to be born. You make that choice, either by your impulse or your reason. Once they are born, hell or heaven is the two mutually exclusive possibilities of their eternal destiny. They can go on the narrow path to heaven, or they go to hell on the wider path. Don’t you think, you must have the responsibility to make sure they are going to heaven, once you decide to have them? If you were not more of this earth and if your spiritual awareness was well developed, you would worry more about your children's eternal destiny than their education, food, shelter, clothing, and joy.

 

As attending school and having proper nutrition are not free choices to be made by children, but a mandatory right of every kid and a mandatory duty of every parent, how mandatory should be raising children with proper faith, proper character, proper manner, proper discipline, and proper knowledge of Jesus Christ, the lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit? Will you not choose to have no kid if the destiny of your kids forever is hell? Every choice you make in your kids determines whether they go to heaven or hell. Do you discipline your kids so they can learn obedience and fear of their parents or do you spoil them as bastard children of this sinful world? After all the bible does say a child who is not disciplined by his/her parent is a bastard (Proverbs 3:12). Is faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ an important choice of life you must make for your kids or one biscuit in the supermarkets of religion that they can have if they will? Are you that much indifferent about the eternal life of your children? I know most of us don’t think like this. It is not we don’t love our children, but, it is because we are mostly bone and flesh, with very dormant spirit. The spiritual world is a religion, we remember every Sunday, yet the material world is very real to us 24/7. After all, for the blind, his/her touch is more sight-full than his/her blind eyes. We are spiritually blind, we don’t see through the eye of our spirit but the eye of our flesh. For the flesh, it is self-evident that the flesh is more real, but for the awakened spirit, the spiritual world is more real. After all, what is visible is from what is invisible (Hebrews 11:3), not the vice versa.

 

Lord told Abraham, I will make a covenant with you for eternity because I know you will teach my laws to your children (Genesis 18:19). Besides, God told Moses to tell the people of God to teach the laws of God to their children and for the law to be in their mouths, their walls, and their lives (Deuteronomy 6: 4-9). The law of God is not the law that you must remember when you go to church, to forget it then after, but should be part of your thinking, talk, behavior, and way of life. It should be written on your wall and your children should be raised with those laws in mind. This is how the kingdom of God works. Word of God should be part of your thinking, your instinct, and manners, and most importantly your behavior and talk. Your children should be raised in this conditioning environment, where the word of God is preprogrammed in their growing minds to be part of their instinct.

 

Imagine the lord's prayer, why is it important for God that he must listen to us as we proclaim that he is holy, mighty, with power, and government? Why is that we should proclaim that those things should belong to him? Is the lord doubting himself and needing our approval? No! The prayer is programming our minds to see the lord as he is. We say those things, so our mind can accept without doubt that the lord is holy, mighty, powerful, and the ultimate king over everything. This is why it is more important to mean them than to chant them. If you mean them it is spiritual prayer otherwise it is empty words. In the prayer, we are learning and being programmed to address the lord properly. We are becoming children of God, with good manners and character, than bastards of the sinful world. After all, calling the name of the lord in vain is a sin, and the lord will never forgive people who call his name in vain (Exodus 20:7). The prayer, therefore, is programming us to call, think, and address the lord properly. It is called good parenting and we all need to learn that from the lord. 

 

By the same logic, our children need to grow while being consistently fed the words of God every day, being programmed by the kingdom of heaven to accept the spiritual world as more real than the physical world. This is not a choice, it is mandatory unless you are raising bastards of this sinful world. I know people pray for a good life, prosperous life, success, and nothing but the best for their children. What a spiritual infancy. The material world is from the spiritual world and the material world is ruled by the spiritual world (Hebrews 11:3). For God car is nothing, material success is useless, wealth is nothing, and everything can be created just like that, it is really nothing. As Moses doubts the lord in vain, don’t doubt that the hand of the lord can feed meat to millions in the middle of the desert (Numbers 11:23). What you think is most important is nothing in sight of the lord. It is your spiritual immaturity that makes you cry all day about candy and coke all day long. It means, spiritually you are still pooping in your diaper and it is the proper time to grow up dears. When you pray, pray for the spiritual connection of your kids with God, pray that the Holy Spirit must take over their lives, and pray that they may see, hear, think, and live by Jesus. If they must see, they need to see through the eye of Jesus, if they must listen they must listen through the ear of Jesus, and if they must think they must think by the brain of Jesus. What they need is the Holy Spirit and pray for the Holy Spirit to guide their entire life, the rest is a gift and it is nothing.

 

Don’t pray for the success of your children, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide your children from birth to eternity. Pray for heaven on earth and side by side you should raise your children in a way that makes them citizens of heaven and migrant ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ on this earth. If you must pray, don’t pray for less as the lord does not restrict his spirit from you (John 3:34). Yes pray less for cars, houses, money, and the material world, but pray more for the spirit of God to make you just in the image of Jesus. Be like Jesus first, so you can have all that Jesus has, and if you still want to cry about toys, toys too little children. Don’t pray for less but for more spirit of the lord. Mature-up children, it is not time for infancy. God does know that what you need is neither snake nor scorpion, devils, but the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:11-13).

 

My advice is that if you cannot raise your children with proper faith and proper character, don’t have children. Why do you have kids knowing they will forever suffer in the anguish of hellfire? Don’t be selfish! Should your kids suffer forever in hell so you could have the joy of a child for a while? Are you this selfish that your joy of having children for a few decades is worth of your children burning in hell forever? Are you this selfish? Really!? If you must have a child, more than you worry about his/her material life, worry the most about his/her spiritual life and behavior, as behavior is the mirror of the spirit. Invest more in the behavior and manner of your children, and most importantly raise them in proper faith of the Lord Jesus Christ with full guidance of the Holy Spirit. Anything less is spiritual murder and you are a murderer. The blood of your children will condemn you, in the judgment seat of the lord, if you raise your children for hell.

 

Now let me make it clear that your children are not yours. They are mainly children of God as spirit comes from God, and you are their temporary guardian because they share your flesh. Their spirit, which is from God, is the most important part of them and it is not yours. Their real parent is God, as they are made to be children of God. After all, they live as angels forever, but you are their parent for this life only. Imagine how short your life span is on this earth compared to eternity. Their main identity, therefore, is not your children but the Angels of God. As angel Michal is given the responsibility to manage some angels of God under his wing of leadership, you are given temporary responsibility to be their parent. In the eternal plan of God, some of your kids could be your future leaders. In heaven, you may become a lower-ranking angel and your kids could be angels who will stand in front of God, like Angel Gabriel. You are not the eternal boss of your children. You are their loving guardian for a while, so make the lord proud.

What you are given is future Angels of God in adoption, because of your flesh relationship, to raise them to maturity and to lead them to God. Now imagine if God gave you Angel Michal or Jesus Christ to raise them as a child, how would you raise them? I think with the most care. How do you think our mother raised Jesus, knowing he is the Christ? Your kids may not be Angel Michal, let alone Jesus Christ, but still if you raise them right and if they are chosen by God, they are future Angels of the lord. How would you raise an Angel? This is the true identity of your kids. They are future Angels of the Lord, so you better invest in their spiritual life, manner, character, and behavior, more than you invest in their material life. Now imagine if you cannot protect and guide your Angels, do you think God will trust you with his other Angels? Would not God judge you as a murderer of the little ones of God if you don’t raise your children with proper faith, proper manner, proper character, and proper guidance of the Holy Spirit? The measure of success is not how many toys and candy you can buy for your kids, it is how Angelic you make your kids in sight of the lord. Lord is knocking to raise your children right, help him help you.
