Body of Christ who is a servant to the Lord

 

To believe the fate of the faith and the faithful are in the hands of some people or organized groups and their will is to think that Jesus is not God, which means Jesus was dead 2000+ years ago to never raise ever, and human beings are mightier than God. What is a man? What is humanity at all? All humanity is just a drop of water in sight of the lord. That is why we should not count a man, whose birth is in his nostril, as an important being; as God can transform us from living being to dead corpus in just a nanosecond. Human wisdom is a joke in the sight of God, and our might is as heavy as a feather. We are just nothing. If we think otherwise, it is because we are foolish. If we learn enough, we learn we are nothing at all. If we have power, we know that our power is an extremely fragile castle built on sand. We don’t count at all. If we count, it is because God loved us. If we are important, it is not because we are important but because the one who matters the most, the heavenly father, has loved us.  

 

Sometimes we give ranks and names for ourselves to become outlaws against God, like Jonah, in the desolate desert of our absurdity and we dream of a world where the faithful are scared of us because we don’t approve of them. When the faithful are praying for our safe exit from this Neverland of our absurdity to the comfort of God’s protection, we are in a self-imposed illusion in which we see ourselves as outlaws of the West scaring everyone with guns and outlaw titles. What is a man worth? We, human beings, live without wisdom, and we die without wisdom. We are nothing, except for the almighty God who made us valuable.

 

A faithful is powerful because of God, a faithful is wise because of God, and a faithful is a stronghold because he stands on the solid rock, the lord Jesus Christ. A faithful need the approval of God, not human beings. People don’t approve of anyone. God approves and makes his children know each other. If we approve the faithful, it will be an approval if and only if the Holy Spirit is approving the faithful through us. God who is not blind is the leader, as a blind cannot lead a blind. Any Western cowboy, an outlaw-wants-to-be, and who thinks otherwise is playing a foolish character in another foolish Hollywood movie for his amusement of ignorance. Are not Hollywood movies made for immature beings on this earth? What is surprising, after all, if Hollywood has few additional actors to play a childish script?

 

Children of God are in the hands of God. When the wind is blowing, the earthquake is shaking, and the sky is filled with fire and ice, they don’t look to another foolish human being like them for safety. They raise their eye to God and they depend on God in faith. That faith has never been proven wrong to this day and will not be proven wrong in the future either. God has proven himself, in their sight, a million times that he is adequate by himself, as God has way in hurricanes and waves of this earth. The devil and the earth may create hurricanes and waves but the will of God is written on those waves and hurricanes because those waves and hurricanes would be managed by God to fulfill the will of God. When devils and human beings shouted crucify him, against the Lord Jesus Christ, they thought they were destroying Jesus, yet God was managing them to attain his will. The lord does have a way in waves and hurricanes of the devil and human beings.    

 

If faithful are holding the hand of this God, who manages not only his army but with craftiness the army of the devil too, what is there to overwhelm the almighty so his children should fear anyone? The only thing scary in the kingdom of God is running away from the will of God. The only thing scary in the kingdom of God is God being disappointed in us. The only thing that should worry us the most is not the opinion and childish drama of anybody but standing against the will of God. The only thing scary is the anger of God that can be ignited due to our disobedience. Everyone else is a beast behind the cadge of God. Before the beast can reach us, it needs to pass through God. Every hurricane and wave will be used to destroy the devil, which raised it, and to raise children of God to high places, as the lord has a way in hurricanes and waves.

 

Anyone who thinks the assembly of the lord and the faithful is under his will is foolish, who does not know God. Do we think the fate of the faithful and the assembly of the lord is in the hands of blind people? Do we believe that and we are faithful? We can bring anyone to the front, we can kick anyone to the back, we can hunt anyone, and we can raise anyone to manage the assembly of the lord according to our will and we still think that it is an assembly of the lord? This is not Catholic or Orthodox churches; this is the Assembly of God and the body of Christ. Are we God, or is God a fake illusion of our imagination? Assembly of the lord is not a sociopolitical organization, as a means for the end of worldly desires, it is the body of Christ. We are body parts of Jesus, the lord, and the body parts of the lord are accountable to the brain of the body and spirit of the body, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

 

There is no curtain between God and his people anymore. Moses is not the only one who can talk to God. In this age, God who speaks the word through his slave servants is also the God who opens the heart of his other slaves to his word. The brain and the spirit do not communicate with the lungs through the heart, to the kidney through the leg, and to the eye through noise. All are equally valuable body parts that are equally connected to the brain and the spirit of God directly. At the same time, however, they also specialize in different tasks for the commonwealth of the single body, the body of Christ. The lung works 24/7 to make sure every cell has adequate pure air, the heart makes sure adequate blood flow is created to transport it, the abdomen provides energy, and every cell makes food for itself and others. Everyone works as one unit for one commonwealth, the body of Christ.

 

The body of Christ is not a human organization where the hierarchy of mastery is put, in which some are the optimus, and others are plebeians. In the kingdom of God, we have servants and everyone else, who are brothers and sisters. Those who want to rise above everyone else serve the most without demanding honorable titles and names. The service they provide to the kingdom of God and the power of God manifested through them is adequate honor; so they need to take lower seats to give better seats to those who are not honored high by God to be servants of the faithful.

 

When we call people to our assembly, we are not calling people that we need to boss around. No, we are calling people that we must serve in humility. We are not kings looking for servants, we are waiters with our best attitude and readiness to serve our kings, those who are infants in Christ. Why? Because they are fragile enough to need it, as any newborn baby does. We are mature brothers and sisters who serve our newborn sister and brother with unconditional love and humility. We raise them with the utmost care to make them mature and follow the servants of the lord. We don’t tell people to come to be under our authority but to be completed in the body of Christ by joining with other body parts. Assembly of the lord is not a local administration unit of the lord, where the optimus of Rome lead the plebeian of Rome with iron feast authority; it is a service depot, where the older brothers and sisters serve and raise their younger brothers and sisters with unconditional love. You lead people by example not by authority, and the hand of God and your humility will raise you; so you have to keep pushing yourself down.

 

This body of Christ is not organized for earthly desires. Faith is not a means for building a nation, it is the end of this earth and the start of our citizenship of heaven. If USA citizens are in one city in several numbers, this little nation makes sure those citizens are out of harm's way. This is done, first, by managing opportunities, conflicts, and problems to avoid problems for citizens and to promote the advantages of citizens everywhere. Besides, when things get worse, protection when possible and evacuation when necessary is used. If this little nation, with sky-high debt and state dis-functionality, can work hard in trying to manage the life of millions of non-citizens for the safety of a few thousand of its citizens, how far concerned our kingdom of heaven would be for the safety of its citizens?  

 

If we hold our citizenship high and we live a life of ambassadors of the lord, without joining ISIS of heaven, which is earthy desire and earthly idols, heaven will give peace and prosperity to millions around us for our sake. For Joseph's sake, the house of the master will be blessed. But Joseph has to be a child of God, not an Egyptian demigod, or American actor, or Ethiopian nationalist, or a Tigray ethno-centrist. We cannot benefit anyone and our earthly desire by joining ISIS of heaven, which are earthly desires, and idols of our culture and identity. If we join ISIS of heaven, the navy is not sent to protect us, drowns are sent to bomb us as we are establishing the kingdom of the devil in the house of the lord.      

 

If we want to benefit our nation, our identity, our children, our family, and every earthly desire of ourselves, we kill them for the lord’s sake. Only those who are willing to give everything including their life for the lord can save themselves. The way of heaven is not the way of earth. You don’t get rich by hoarding, you get rich by giving. You don’t save yourself by hiding yourself from harm's way, but you save yourself by killing yourself for lord’s sake. You don’t serve earthly desires by running behind them, but by leaving them behind in your search of the will of the lord. You run after earth, you will be enslaved by it. If you run from Earth toward God, the Earth will run after you as a drag addict seeking the next high. You don’t chase success, success chases you.

 

Our God should be our priority and our focus should be on the kingdom of heaven so we can look down on every idol of this earth. Ethnic identity is an idol, nationality is an idol, humanity is an idol, and everything else is an idol except God. Does it mean we hate our identity, our nation, or our human nature? No, as we cannot hate ourselves; yet we have to look down on them as we look down on money. We hold God high and we focus on God 24/7.

 

Our main and dominant prayer should not be “Please God make Ethiopia great or America great”, but it should be “Please God make your kingdom the highest mountain among all mountains of this earth”. We should seek holiness and the kingdom of God, and everything else will be added to us. We don’t worship our ethnicity, nationality, or humanity, but we kill them so they can live and prosper. If God has 1000 angels in America who are God-centered, would not he bless the nation for their sake? Why do we mainly focus on Ethiopia, than God, therefore? It is because we have idols that we need to eliminate from our lives and homes. Are the seas shaking and the beasts ready to eat you? Praise the lord in faith. Don’t focus on what you see, but on God, by having faith against faith, knowledge against knowledge, and common sense against common sense. Just praise the lord because his mercy is forever.

 

Even if we are not fully dedicated to God, as all people are not called for the same service, our priority should be heaven, not earth. A prophet may be happy to know that all angels of God speak about God all the time. But we are not persons of God who want to focus 24/7 on heaven, at least not all of us. That is why: all of us may not speak and think about heaven 24/7. Even in this case, our priority should be heaven. If we live by the commandments of the lord, we are working for the lord 24/7. Now we can pray about Ethiopia for half an hour after we pray about the kingdom of heaven for 3 hours. If we do that I am sure God will bless us to complete our happiness. Is it not written that we should ask God for blessing so our happiness can be complete? Let us be Moses who works for God 24/7 and who cries toward the lord when he faces the Red Sea of life, not the people with him who always cry about the food of Egypt, 24/7, in disobedience.

 

It is better to do God’s desire for 10 hours and to pray for God’s earthly favor in 10 seconds than to pray and fast for weeks with evil works and bad faith toward God. Even if we have family desires, national desires, ethnic desires, and so on, it is not wise we should make idols out of them. Dears, focus on God’s work and make God happy, then the Red Sea will split in your eye and solid rock will give you water because the fire and cloud of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, is with you. What we seek is not hard for God, but we need to have God with us first. You don’t run after Ethiopia or your ethnicity far away from God to have them in glory for you, no you leave them behind to hold the hand of God. When you have the favor of God, the things you seek are easy to achieve in the hands of God. So don’t seek desires of this earth, seek God. Worship God, not as a sugar daddy that you court for sugar but as a loving father that you love and obey unconditionally. As a loving father, God, then after, will not only give you what you need but worthless cookies and cokes that you love the most as an infant of this earth.

 

That is why all idols, which include self-idealization, nationality, ethnicity, sociocultural identity, and all earthly desires, need to take a back seat in our life, and God and the kingdom of heaven need to take a central place in our thinking, faith, and life. This is so even when we are lowered to the dungeon of lions in Babylon, or when the sea is opening its mouth to swallow us. Know God is mightier than any problem you have, so focus on God. If our spiritual eyes are opened, we will worry the most about billions who will end in hellfire for eternity more than piety idols we hold high, like our ethnicity, nationality, humanity, and soon. Yes, starvation is evil, but hellfire is worse. War is evil but sin is worst. Poverty is a problem but not having the favor of God is worst. In search of our shadow, earthly desires, that should chase us, we should not lose the light of the lord which gives us everything. Let us chase God and the will of God, and everything else will be added to us, according to the will of God.

 

Imagine a poor girl is graced by the love of the prince of the nation. The prince just loves her and he engages with her by putting a ring on her hand as a sign of their engagement. He allocated servants who looked after her and watched her until he came back. He told her, if you are ready when I come, we will have to weed in the palace and you will be queen of the nation. What should this future queen do in the meantime? Establish a kingdom for herself and her family in the village, while singing and crying about food, clothes, comfort, and honor that she needs now and will have in the future? That will show the prince picked a foolish girl for the queen, and he is expected to leave her behind.

 

What if she starts to learn ways of a royal life, so she can easily adapt to her new role of the future? She needs to prepare herself in mind, character and every way to behave, think, talk, and live like a queen. This will honor the ring of the prince in her hand as everyone can see the prince is wise for choosing her as his future queen. It will make the servants of the prince around her happy, as they make good reports to the prince. The prince above everyone will be happy because he picks a good girl for his wife and a wise queen for his kingdom. Is it even a question at all which girl is queen material and which girl is a foolish maiden who has to settle with one of the peasants around her? The devils around are the poor peasants who want to marry this foolish girl. What is wrong with us for real? What made all of us settle for the fool maiden than the diamond in the rough?

 

If the servants are making good reports to the prince, would he leave her without accommodation and gifts? The more queen material she becomes, the more queenly accommodation she would gate. As she seeks the kingdom of the prince, everything will be added to her. But the prince is not her sugar daddy that she should love for sugar. He is her first and last love and she can give her life for his honor and name. When it is wartime, she is expected to die and suffer for her prince and her future kingdom. She is queen material, not a gold digger, and the shallow maiden who has to settle for one fellow peasant, the spirit of the devil, around her. Which girl are we as assembly of the lord, and as a person?

 

Let us assume we are here mentors about the kingdom of the prince. What should we teach her? Should we tell her to ask for clothes, gold, and gifts as she is the future queen, and what belongs to the prince is hers? What about teaching her to exercise her powers by bossing people around, after all, she is engaged to the prince. Would we teach that to the future queen? Would that be an honorable way to wait for the prince? No, we would teach her on ways and manners of royal life, and we would develop humility and a public servant attitude toward her ways so she could have better relationships with her future subjects and so her pride would not destroy the future of the kingdom.

 

Even if she has economic problems, it is not wise to focus on them 24/7. What is wise is to focus mainly on the kingdom of business 24/7, and then add a footnote about her economic problems. When the servants of the prince report on her hard work and dedication, then they add she is in poverty, the prince will be angry with his servants that they did not change things for her. What if the information reported to the prince is that she always demands accommodation because she is the future queen? It does show she is a glitter without diamonds. Would that be a good way to train her for her future life in the kingdom? As it is written we should seek the kingdom of God and holiness, and everything will be added to us. King Solomon prayed for wisdom so he could manage the people of God right, and God added everything for him. Learn from the wise, King Solomon, and train people to seek the kingdom of God and holiness, than to seek what is simply added. Be smart. The best way to win on this earth is by winning the heart of God. First, find the will of God, then after work for it. Make God happy, then everything is added to you.

 

Yes, poverty is evil. What about billions of blind people who will end up in hellfire forever? Which is a more serious problem: hellfire forever versus poverty for 120 years? Are we going to attract people to the kingdom of God by showing our creep in MTV? Are we going to rap about the VH and the money we have to attract people to the kingdom of God? Or is the salt and light of our life to attract people to the kingdom of God? Let us teach people about salt and light; so, we can save billions from the hellfire, rather than worthless material life on this earth. Let us help people buy eternal food for free rather than to run after the food of this earth that never lasts. Food on this earth is a gift. So, we should run after the eternal food which is given for free. That food is named the Lord Jesus Christ. Imagine hundreds of billions of people in hellfire. Can poverty be a more serious problem? Saving billions is work, while food is a gift. Focus on saving billions, not on the food. Hundreds of billions of people in hellfire, imagine it. Is poverty more evil? Why you cannot see this is because you are nationalist and self-centered first, then after a citizen of heaven next. Kill your idols before you join the billions in hell fire.
