An earthly man cannot delight God!

While watching a random YouTube video, about the North Korean faithful moment, I came across statistical data on South Korea which should wake us up from our daydream that we immerse ourselves following the illusion of the devil which is planted in the assembly of the lord. Even though the number of Churches in South Korea is more than the number of convenience stores (supermarkets), and most churches have more than 1000 members, the painful fact of the future, however, is that most (69%) youth are atheist, a significant majority (79%) of the population consider Christianity as non-credible (as a fairy tale), and only 13% of the youth consider Christians as trustworthy. What is wrong with us?

How is it possible for darkness to defeat us? Why are we becoming less trustworthy? Why is our faith non-credible? You are going to say the devil. I say to you, we the faithful are the devil of the faith. The devil has no power in the assembly of the lord, as the gates of hell will not stand against the church. This is true unless Jesus is sometimes wrong, but Jesus never lies. We have to fall asleep first and we need to be in darkness before the devil can come to plant his seed which are desires of the dark spirit and desires of the flesh.

Our distance from the will of God and our earthly way of faith is the reason why the fall is happening. Our faith is the faith of obedience to the will of God. We are faithful to the lordship of the lord, which opens our access to the Holy Spirit which has to lead us to perfection with our complete obedience. In practice, however, we are not following the will of God. In practice, we are blind leading other blinds to the cliff. We are very earthly, self-centered, self-serving, and self-deluding Pharisees of the faith, who will never make it to heaven and never let others enter into the kingdom of God. What we should sell is Jesus, not us - the worthless slaves who simply did their task. We can stand firm upon Jesus if we are founded on him; but upon worthless dirt like us, upon our ideology, theology, and ignorance, the only thing that can stand firm is our sin.

Yes, wind will come, earthquakes can happen, and hurricanes can shock us but could it be possible for those who are founded on the foundation rock to fall? Unless you believe Jesus is a liar, your fall is because you are not built on the foundation rock of the lord. You are a magnificent building built on the sand, and your fall is appearing great, as it is written. To listen to Jesus’s commandments and to practice them in your life so the light of the lord can shine bright on your life is foundation rock, known as the lord Jesus Christ, and a house that is built on such foundation will be tested but will never fall. The fall of the West took years because their failure was accumulated over the years, the fall in the East happened faster as they were able to import readymade sins from the West and who knows where. This is the end of all work of faith which is not built on the foundation stone. Jesus can't lie, and anything that is not built on the lord, therefore, cannot stand firm.

The law of salvation and holiness is simple. First, we must love our God with all our hearts, our minds, and our souls, and we must accept the lord Jesus as the Christ anointed by God. Second, we should love our companions, brothers, sisters, and neighbors as ourselves. Third, to be holy as our heavenly father is by loving our enemies, protecting those who hunt us, supporting those who starve us, sheltering those who leave us without shelter, and praying for those who hunt us. If there is judgment, it is the judgment of God and we are called for unconditional love. We were supposed to be built on love, and our love was supposed to grow over time with a spiritual growth process. If you are built on this foundation, and other commandments of the lord, which give expression to such holiness, there is no power which can stand against you.

As all powers, principalities, and authorities are not under the feat of the lord but the heavenly father is working toward that, all things will not be under your feet, even if you are founded on the foundation stone. Wind will come, an earthquake will happen, and hurricanes will follow, as the devil tests you in every direction, but you will stand firm because you are built on the lord. Heaven will fight your fight, as long as you are foot solder of heaven, not Judah among the 12 disciples, and gates of hell will not stand against you.

That was supposed to be our life and the holy life that we live is supposed to be the light and salt that will testify to the world that Jesus is lord. When the word of God, powers of God, healing of God, the prophecy of God, and every gift of God are served in holiness, humility, servant attitude, and in service of others our life will witness to the holiness of God and reliability of our faith. When we are self-serving authorities figures who use faith for earthly desire, and material gain; when we are masters of the faithful rather than servants of the faithful; when we are proud of our holiness while despising the sin of the sinful world; etc., we are the Pharisees of the temple born after 2000 years to hang Jesus again and again in the cross forever.

See your fruit; our faith does not work like that. We have to be rich, powerful, in control of the government, presenting some human ideology as valuable, and soon trying to mix the earth with Jesus. We cannot win the earth by being from earth, and definitely a man of this world cannot delight the lord. We cry poverty is evil looking to the accommodation and life we enjoy, I will tell you the truth and nothing but the truth that hell fire is more evil. It is better to live in poverty, as Jesus did, to save billions from hell fire than to enjoy a good life for 120 years by sending you and the whole world population of all ages to hell fire.

Why is sin easy for us? Why is it that we don’t care about others? What makes us untrustworthy? Why is it that we don’t have the light and salt of the lord shining from us to the world? Why? Because we are earthly, our hope is earthly, our desire is earthly, our theology is earthly, and what the world sees from us is not holiness but hypocrisy. You can self-delude but see to your fruit, does your fruit witness to you? Is it possible for a good tree to produce evil fruit? Is it possible for the evil tree to produce a good fruit? By the way, I am focusing on the worst within us, not the best in us.

Unless our mind and treasure are in heaven, we will never get right, and our judgment day is very near. The reason why we are attracted to sin and the way of this world is because we are investing in our flesh, not our spirit. Those who invest in their flesh will harvest corruption from it, and those who invest in their spirit will harvest eternal life. You cannot love this world and the way of this world if you have any future in the kingdom of God. Look down on this earth, and the way of this earth. Look down on money, look down on comfort, look down on popularity, look down on wealth, look down on power, and look down on everything earthly. When they are around, use them for Jesus, and when they are not around praise the lord because you will have the lord and his love forever.

Money, wealth, power, popularity, and so on are not your idols that you must worship and honor, they are tools when available, and worthless things when not available. You have to know the source of all, wealth, power, money, popularity, and earthly tools, is God. Focus on God, which is over overflowing powerful river of heaven, not on the drop of water on your glass. If you need water for the work of God, God has water which is a mighty river that is overflowing, and God will give you if God thinks you need it. If you don’t have water, it is because God knows you need no water for his work. Your life is not about the amount of water in your glass as that water is nothing, but you are a child of God who should never worship a jar of water on this earth. Focus on the mighty river of heaven, and look down on every earthly thing, as something beneath you.

There is a theological claim that the Holy Spirit is going to go to heaven someday. The fact, however, is that someday the Holy Spirit will sink us full in full toward his nature, and we will be completely transformed to join the army of heaven. The Holy Spirit, which is given to the faithful now is a down payment while the full payment comes later. We are Angels of God, and Army of God, who are not fully drafted as our training is not over and the time for full drafting, as planned by God, is yet to come.

We are given some down payment now and God is expecting profit. Profit is several faithful who look like Jesus. God is looking not only for products but acceptable quality products. Can a buyer buy a poor-quality product because you stamp it with an excellent name? Why is Jesus in our mind a fool who accepts any garbage for a good product? Jesus is only satisfied with himself and anyone who imitates him. He is looking for us to grow toward him, with his help, so we can save millions and billions around us including us. As Jesus did not preach the word of God by being earthly, and as the disciples did not preach the word of God by being earthly, we cannot preach the word of God by being earthly. The reason why the Holy Spirit comes is to honor Jesus by transforming us to his image, and the reason why more has to come is to make us more like Jesus. It is all about Jesus which is expected to grow in us, not us.

Before God can give us more grace, as the Holy Spirit is expected to increase over time, he needs fruit. He will ask those who are given 1, 5, and 10 bars of gold, how much do you profit, in quality and quantity? You cannot say I make 20 counterfeit gold bars by losing your 10 authentic gold bars. We are given the fruit of gold bars from heaven, the fruit of those who built the faith on the location, and then after we end up producing an uncountable number of counterfeits. Could this be right for marketing in the human market, let alone for heaven? If we expect God to grace us with more Holy Spirit, that will be for what purpose? To produce more counterfeits for faithful? People who are of this world, whose treasure is in this world and all their life is based on this word, with the additional joy of the afterlife in heaven that you promise them, cannot delight God. An entity that is hated by God, which is an earthly man and a sinner, cannot live in heaven forever, can the devil live there?

Can we say we are without sin? If that is the case God will be a liar, because he said all are sinners. But can a seed of God in us sin? Is it possible for the Holy Spirit to be an earthly and earthly-minded sinner? The spirit in us, if it is the Holy Spirit, cannot sin. The sin is from us and the devil, and holiness is from God. Who is winning over time is the issue. Are we becoming like the Holy Spirit in the image of Jesus to imitate the almighty God himself or are we trying to lead the Holy Spirit and heaven toward earthly desire and its sins? We over time are expected to be more heavenly and less earthly. It is not about hiding in a monastery or doing church work without a wife and children (though sometimes like Jesus and Paul, we may not have time for a wife and family) it is about denying ourselves, hanging ourselves on the cross, and to be born again in the image of the lord through the spiritual growth process.

It is not our wealth and power that should grow over time, it is our kindness, love, holiness, brotherliness, mercy, humility, service, and all heavenly manners and characters that should grow in us. We have to be defeated and the Holy Spirit has to take over. This is self-denial in service of God. Now imagine if you are dying as a flash and rising in the image of God in spirit, is lie easy for you, hate easy for you, selfishness easy to you, corruption easy to you, disloyalty easy to you, injustice natural to you, fairness alien to you, and evil natural to you? Those things are impossible to those who are growing in spirit, so why is our light, as faithful, mixed with earthly darkness? This is because: we are not growing toward God, as we are growing toward earth. We are given the grace of God but we are misusing it. I could be wrong, but the fruit cannot be wrong. How is it possible that your good tree produced such evil fruit? Or is Jesus a liar?

I am sure, in a day appointed by God, to those who are chosen by God, either from the assembly of the lord now or future recruits of the faith, the power of the Holy Spirit is going to increase, not to create sinful witch doctors of this earth, but to transform them into nature of Jesus not only in powers but also in character, manner, way of life, talk, and word of God they preach and live. More and more Holy Spirit is coming to create more like Jesus people, it is not for a magic show. Only those who are growing in Jesus, visibly or invisibly to us, will grow more toward Jesus with more power, knowledge, work, and life of God. It is to kill us and to raise Jesus in us, it is not about us but about Jesus. The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to witness the divinity of Jesus in our life. People have to see Jesus in us, not us, to believe in the lordship of the lord.

The visible world is made from the invisible world. Our life in this visible world, therefore, should be guided by our heart and treasure which should be in the invisible world. If it is the will of God, we may be rich or suffering in this visible world, but if we are rich we have to be rich for heaven, and if we are suffering we must be suffering for heaven. Our wealth should be for the kingdom of heaven. This is true for the wealth of the people and wealth of the faith leaders. I am not saying to create wealthy faith workers. No, faith workers are workers and resources of the kingdom of heaven, not the kingdom of heaven itself. The work of God needs people and resources, we have poor people, sick people, orphans, elderly, and soon, at least 10% of our income is of God. The church does not belong to a person, you don’t give 10% to make a man of God rich. In reality, however, the worker of the faith has to learn to live an average life. You give at least 10% of your income, for the work of God. God is sometimes sick, God is sometimes in prison, God is sometimes elderly without support, God is sometimes an orphan, and soon, as the spirit of God is everywhere in every faithful, poor or rich, so make your wealth for service of God. It does not have to be church-related at all but in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Help the needy but especially the faithful needy, all people are not equal to us, in the name of the lord as much as you can. Contribute to the work of God because the work of God needs resources but that is not to create wealth man of God. That is the dominant joke of earthly “faithful” of this age.

Faith leaders are servants, who have to share your meal, not kings who live in prosperity in the middle of a sea of poverty. Let us not forget Judah was the treasury who enjoyed life in the name of Jesus but Paul was a poor servant in the name of the lord. Paul should be provided with for his needs but it is not to build luxury life for Judah. We need to learn to live an average life as servants of the lord. 10% is for God means, it is not for servants of the lord because servants of the lord are not God. 10% is for the temple of the lord means it is for the service of all current and potential faithful. It is not for the leaders but all of us the faithful. Do we doubt who the temple of the lord is? Or are we calming that we are Holy of Holy in the temple of the lord?

The ideal mindset would be to give all your earthly treasure to God so you can have heavenly treasure. But none of us are close to that. So we have to grow toward it. Give some, and see the payback. Then give more, and see more payback. In this process learn that wealth is easy to get worthless thing if God wills it, but the kingdom of God is the source of everything good and that love of God and fellow faithful is everything. You don’t grow toward love of wealth, no you grow toward holiness and Jesus while looking down on wealth as nothing.

Children learn to avoid all idols as it is written and so grow away from money and wealth worship. Your idols may be wealth, family, children, success, money, power, popularity, and soon. Learn to look down on them. I don’t say hate them, look down on them compared to the kingdom of God. So if it is the will of God that you are wealthy, but be wealthy for the kingdom of God. If you are popular, be popular for the kingdom of God. If you are powerful, be powerful for the kingdom of God. All is about heaven, not this earth. Grow toward who you are in the eye of heaven not to what you are leaving behind. Otherwise, God is going to leave you behind.
