Spiritual Growth

  One of the most important awareness that we need to have is that God had numerous workers and children in the past, now, and in the future. In this process, we are a small drop of water in the huge ocean, known as the kingdom of God. Yes God guides us, helps us, corrects us, protects us, and even speaks to us, but God’s kingdom does not revolve around us, it revolves around Jesus Christ.   Lacking such awareness is one of the most serious mistakes of many people anointed by God. For most, not necessary for all as many are the devil’s own, it is doubtless that they have encounters with God, depend on the guidance of God, and many do listen to the voice of God. How do we know? We listen to what they learn from that encounter and what grows out of it. The problem is they want to define the kingdom of God based on that encounter and they think the will of God is to affirm that encounter.   The problem of most faithful is that they want God of their preference rather than being faithful of God’s preferences. We want God who affirms us rather than God who affirms himself. Our identity is the problem, as we are just blood and flesh doing things of blood and flesh, rather than the will of our born-again spirit, which is being reprogrammed to affirm nobody but Jesus Christ. Besides, since we are too blood and flesh, we think like blood and flesh not as born again faithful who sit on the right side of Jesus Christ, now. We are in the kingdom of heaven now, as the kingdom of God is within us. When Jesus started his ministry, he did his best to avoid conflict with the Pharisees. This is not because he needs their respect since he knows they exchange respect with each other but they never desire respect from heaven. He was just trying to minimize the size of their stumbling stone, so some could leap over it toward salvation. Though they as a group will stumble, as it is written, he was hoping to save as much as he could from them. That is why even Jesus, the God, was surprised about how things went out with him after observing how they treated him because they did go far against him.   They would kill him, because it is written, the detail, however, could be much different if many listen to him.   Imagine you accept the lord (Jesus Christ) as lord (God), yet you lack biblical knowledge and proper foundation and guidance to differentiate evil from good, God from the devil, and what is biblical and what is not biblical. You will be a caricature of a devil’s stupidity. In this setting, if you are empowered with power, it is nothing but a recipe for disaster under the kingdom of darkness. If you are pure in the word of God and life, it has to be nothing but a miracle of God. Now imagine you manage some institution but you are too earthly in character and mindset. Imagine you are managing your home, for example. Because it is written, you list several laws that grant you respect and obedience from family members, but you swallow the camel in other areas. As you are hypocritical and earthly in behavior and mindset, you will have a form but not the substance of a faithful.
