The issue of spiritual fathers
There are three kinds of lies. One is a white lie of
the fools. Everyone knows it is a lie but a fool lies anyway. There is
statistics as a second lie. Statistics, unless used by honest people with the
necessary knowledge and integrity, can paint any color on anything. The third
one is a true lie. A lie that is believed to be true by many for an extended
period, and it, as a result, becomes an abomination and immoral to question it.
Imagine a king who is going to save the people from their oppressors, yet he
cannot even defend himself. He must be the messiah pretender, therefore, and
crucifying him will be common sense judgment, right?
The salvation that God was speaking of, at least, in
that period, however, was salvation from sin, the devil, and death. God’s
thinking is as high as heaven but the fools were as low as earth. That true lie
did not only stumble those fools; but also the chosen one, John the Baptist.
Even close families of the lord thought Jesus was crazy and needed
intervention. True lies are dangerous because those who teach them are not only
devils but they will teach people to create worse devils than they are. The
only way out of true lies is if the blind is led by the all-knowing and
almighty God, the Holy Spirit. There is no hope for humanity, therefore, unless
God takes over and the Holy Spirit takes the leading role rather than the
supportive role that foolish people are assigning him in this age.
One of the true lies that every lost soul in every
faith is holding hard is the issue of spiritual fathers and even mothers. The
fools, who call themselves daddy and mammy of the faithful and expect every
spiritually immature faithful to call them mama and papa, also have a true lie.
The true lie comes from Paul as Paul said to some faithful “I have fathered
you” and “You may have many nannies but only one father (Paul)”.
Our Paul, our measure of perfection, our standard of
truth and lie, the wisdom of God, and logos of God said so, right? Who is Jesus
to question Paul, after all? What Jesus said so, therefore, should be
understood by making it consistent with Paul, the logos of God. Who can
contradict the word that became flesh, our dear Paul? Right “mama” and “papa”? Rebuke
and punish a wise, he will increase wisdom; rebuke a fool and he will hate you,
and punish him, you will get obedience but not wisdom.
The truth is that Jesus is the foundation, Jesus is
the cornerstone, Jesus is the final image that has to be created, Jesus is the
truth, and everything is connected, to one another, by Jesus to justify Jesus
as the perfection of God. Paul is connected to Peter, David, and Moses by Jesus
to justify Jesus as the truth and perfection of God. Paul cannot reinterpret Jesus,
Paul has to be interpreted in light of Jesus. Jesus is the constitution, Paul
is a law of Parliament. Unless you think the Parliament (Paul) is wiser than
the framers of the Constitution (God), you cannot allow the Constitution (God)
to be reinterpreted to fit the law of the Parliament (Paul). Jesus is the
truth, not Paul.
Jesus was clear in stating that the Pharisees demand
honor, recognition, respect, and dignity; while desiring to have better sit,
better treatment, and better status. They want to be called fathers and
teachers, and they do everything in hypocrisy and for appearance rather than
with pure faith and obedience to the will of God. That is why Jesus rebuked
them and ordered us not to call anyone father as our spiritual father is our heavenly
father. He also told us not to call anyone a teacher or leader as the lord is
our teacher and leader. He added that we all are brothers and sisters, under
one father, and one teacher and leader. This is what Jesus said. If we say
father to anyone like Abraham, it means Abraham cannot be our spiritual father,
therefore. I am the father of my children but not a father of their spirit, as
I am not heavenly father. Jesus cannot be wrong, as truth cannot be wrong. I
may be a teacher for food, but not a teacher of faithful because I am also
under the same teacher learning with everyone. If there is truth in me, it is
not mine; if I lie, remember I am bone and flesh only. So do not call any one
teacher, except lord, either, because the lord said so. How many teachers will
be angry if they are brothers and sisters only? What makes you so sad to lose
the title of “Mama” and “Papa”, dear? What is it? Because dirt floats up and
gold sinks down, it does not mean dirt is more valuable than gold. So learn to
sink in as God will float you up by sinking the dirt to hell.
Even if Paul said I am your father, by contradicting
Jesus, who do you think is more accurate in terms of truth? Jesus or Paul? Paul
has to be understood as brick on the foundation of Jesus, as the house cannot
be built outside of the foundation and Paul cannot reestablish another
foundation. That is why Paul has to be understood as overstretching himself,
not being as precise as Jesus would be. John the Disciple is not very precise,
for example, and each sentence of John does not make sense without the next
sentence. Jesus is not like that as every word used by Jesus is the perfect
word unless he says 70 times 70 to mean infinitive given the simplicity of our
thinking. Jesus is the truth and Paul is better than John the Baptist in
knowing the truth; but this is not because Paul is better than John but because
Paul has known Jesus better. Jesus is the master key. Holly Spirit can write
with Jesus perfectly but with Paul, you have to add what he said here with what
he said there to get the picture, Paul is not the perfect pen of God as Jesus
is. That is why Paul has to be reinterpreted to fit Jesus. Even the life of
Paul is not perfect but the life of Jesus is. Paul has to be seen in the light
of Jesus, therefore.
Now we have to understand the reason that made Jesus
rebuke the Pharisees to see why the interpretation of the mamas and papas is a
funny absurdity. Jesus rebuked the blind Pharisees as they rule the faithful as
worldly leaders rule the world, rather than as leaders of heaven rule the
faithful. In the kingdom of Heaven, the best among the faithful are expected to
take a lower seat, lower honor, and not to demand any recognition for their
service. The work that God gives them is honor so they push themselves downward
to be below everyone while honoring everyone, especially the least deserving
ones who are the faithless and the new faithful. The least valuable ones are
given more honor as they need it more, while the honorable do not need such
honor. When God opens the eye of the blind through you, that is your honor; so
dishonor yourself and honor others, especially the least deserving. In this
case, the work that God is doing through you will be celebrated by everyone and
when you stumble, everyone will cry with you. You become one body of Christ.
This is a plan of God. Fools, now see you.
In this perfect plan of God, mama and Papa are what?
Honor, respect, recognition, better treatment, better seats, long clothes, and
the final result is rivalry, division, fighting, materialism, and blind leaders
who lead the faith to eternal destruction. Your way does not work dears,
because you read the right book in the wrong way.
The last time I remember, brother and sister was a
thing; in less than a decade, maybe my eye is opened now to see it, mama and
papa is a thing. The last time I remember, dim light was for worldly music; in
less than a decade it is spiritual light. Last time I remember, imitating the
giants of the faith was a thing, now prosperity is a thing. They cry that they
grow up craving bread, and they cannot stop to kiss the bread that everyone is,
actually, eating though they worship it the most; while not knowing the hunger
of lost souls when they lost God is much deeper. We just crave God like you
crave bread. We had an empty soul which was more painful than your hungry
stomach, and when God is in, we are complete. That is why you cry loud house of
bread (Bethlehem) and we cry loud house of God (Bethel), the difference is we
were poor of God and you were poor of bread. Yes, bread is given to us too, as
God is a good father, but who can focus on bread after knowing God? You don’t
know, how empty life is without God; as we cannot understand how can you cry
about bread this much. It is just grass and you are a child of God. That is why
we take our daily bread as given and we focus on God, you take God as given and
you focus on your bakery business.
What is funny is that they like to debate on issues of
cleaning insects, like democracy and autocracy in the assembly of the lord; but
they simply swallow the camel of servant mindset. I am not sure if the
administration of the assembly of faithful is democratic or autocratic, what I
know is leaders are servants. If you are a servant, you can serve me alone or with
your group. You take a lower seat, lower honor, more work, more pressure, and
more sleepless nights until you are finally crucified for the lord, and you can
do it in any number that God allows you to be. If you were a servant, you would
be Moses crying to the lord and saying “I am not their father”, rather than
fighting about which cake goes to which fool. What I want is fit girls to dress
Jesus in the world street; what the fat ladies do is fight for cake. Do you
expect me to debate which fat girl deserves which fat cake, what I say is hit
the gem girls.
I am not sure if Paul and Barnabas, at first, or Paul alone, at last, are the leaders of the assembly of faithful from Gentiles or if the 12 disciplines led by Peter are the right leaders of the assembly of faithful in Jerusalem. What I know is Paul, Barnabas, and the 12 disciplines were not demanding better seats, better honor, better respect, and better status among the faithful. Yes the honor of God floats them up, but they were pushing themselves down. When they do not do that we have the fights of Paul and Barnabas, and Paul and Peter. They are not Jesus after all.
