Neither Cultural nor Earthly (Edited by ChatGPT)

The faithful — born-again believers who confess Jesus as Lord and are baptized in the Holy Spirit with full obedience to Him — are in both a civil war and a war to defend the faith against the devil. The external war is clearly defined and easier to confront, but clarity about the source of the civil war is critical. The source of all our differences directly emanates from our destination. Moreover, our misreading of the status quo is a serious bias that creates numerous denominations and theological baggage in this age.

Our differences mainly arise from our vision of the ideal state — what we are trying to build in the end. In the Ethiopian context, most faithful are preoccupied with national development and desire to have an impact on the political and social life of society. They cry for power and prosperity. That is where they are going — but it is not where I am going. My problem is that people do not know the real Jesus — 100% Jesus — and as a result, they are going to hell. They are not born again by accepting Jesus as Lord, and they are not led by the Holy Spirit.

Take the progressive catacombs around the world and many black and brown assemblies of born-again faithful (not the catacombs) — what they want is a different world that promotes their dignity and life, and also their sin, in the case of those progressive children of the devil.

Now let us focus on white people. What they want is a faith and a society that value them and affirm their history and achievements. They may cry for the preservation of Western Civilization, but that is a vague motto because Western Civilization includes progressive catacombs, Catholics, the French Revolution, the Opium Wars, and many other good and evil things. It is not wise to focus on what one says, but on what one truly desires.

Some denominations — like Word of Faith, the prosperity gospel, and even dominion theology — are going back to Adam in his thorns, with an interest in domination. But what I desire to see is Adam bowing at the feet of Jesus, living a spiritual life rather than a life of the flesh. Not king Adam, but slave-of-Jesus Adam — that is what I want to see.

What is common to all these abortions of faith is that they are earthly and often culturally bound. There is truth in all of them — even the catacombs may contain some socio-cultural truth, though not biblical. But whatever truth they have is nothing more than a filthy garment — a garment of abomination.

None of these groups truly know the gospel, for the gospel is about the death of human life and a second birth in the Spirit — to live according to the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. After accepting Jesus as Lord, you must die and be washed by baptismal water. As Jesus died on the cross, you must die as a white man, black man, poor man, rich man — whatever cultural label you hold.

Then the Holy Spirit gives life to your spirit and unites you with Jesus and the Heavenly Father so that you may live as the body of Christ for Christ. You are now dead — Jesus lives in you. Jesus will open your spiritual eyes until the light in you is spotless, and then the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead will also heal your flesh — your culture, ideology, politics, thinking, and life. Faith is death after life — and it cannot happen by preserving what is dead.

What does this mean in practice? Life is no longer about me, me, and me — but about the body of Christ. When you see a white man, black man, brown man, or woman, you see only one binary classification: the living versus the dead. You know people by Jesus, not by race, ethnicity, nationality, or personal identity.

Every spiritually living human being is your brother or sister. A black man in faith — truly born again — is more family to a white man in faith than his own blood relatives without faith. Among the faithful, there is no barrier of nationality, ethnicity, race, or geography. We are one body of Christ. This is our death as individuals and our resurrection as the body of Christ. So should we debate whose corpse is worth preserving?

Now, with the pure eye of the Spirit, we can look into the eyes of our brothers and others to help them — and God will heal our flesh, our culture, our politics, our economy, and our human life. This means two born-again believers may have cultural and historical differences. Before their second birth and spiritual growth, they stood apart, despising each other, trying to remove the dust from each other’s eyes while the wood remained in their own. Now they love each other unconditionally in Christ, and with their spiritual eyes opened — without wood — they talk to each other about the trash they once held high. Before, they fought as opponents trying to clean one another without right sight; now, they talk in love and friendship while Jesus opens their eyes to all truth. Is it complex to know? Things work better with Jesus.

Human-based political and social solutions are always possible for earthly problems, but all things under the sun are vanity. Human work is always imperfect — an endless cycle of ups and downs. The blacks thought they were solving problems, but the whites became angry. Then the blacks rise again, and then the whites — an endless cycle seeking balance. Worse, nothing is made right: the black is angry, the white is angry, and Jesus is alone, losing His children to the devil.

If you want healing, have faith and grow toward Jesus. Let go of your cultural, political, and social issues, and grow toward Him. After you grow and your spiritual eyes open — thinking with the heart of Jesus — you will be like the wind: no one understands you, but you will know all things, because Jesus knows all things.

Then your healed spirit will heal the sin around you. At that point, you will notice that the real fight is not between nation and nation, culture and culture, or politics and politics — but between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light.

White culture and Judeo-Christian culture are rebellion against Scripture and God. Black culture and history are rebellion against Scripture and God. World history is rebellion against Scripture and God. The world itself is the land of rebellion against Scripture and God — and that is why God will end it all.

But is all white, all Judeo-Christian, all black, and all of the world evil? Do we have to preserve this or that? No. We must take the Bible as the standard — and the standard of the Bible is Jesus. The Bible must reflect Jesus; the word of God in Scripture is perfected by the Word made flesh, Jesus. Holding Jesus as the measure, we must separate the devil’s seed from the heavenly seed in all earthly things. But before that, we must die, and Jesus must take over — otherwise, it is the blind leading the blind.

Take Western Civilization, Arabic Civilization, Eastern Civilizations, African Civilizations, and so on — all are garments of damnation, filthy rags. They are the result of the curse placed upon Adam and Eve — the thorns and thistles of their fall — not cultures grown in the light of God as the culture of the children of light, the angels of God.

Holding Jesus as the standard of perfection, we evaluate them all. Slavery is evil, but the gospel work of white people is holy. Colonialism is evil, but helping people in crisis is holy. Distributing the Bible is holy, but forcing people to conform to your culture is evil. Those who steal, torture, enslave, and kill the weak are evil — but those who teach the Bible and live the life of Jesus are holy. Catholics and Orthodox belong to evil religion, while the Protestant movement in general is holy. Should we preserve them? No — I want to purify them so they may look like Jesus. Do I reject any culture in totality? No — but I accept only Jesus. All cultures and traditions must grow toward the perfection that is Jesus. Even the holy Protestant movement must grow toward Jesus.

If you are Catholic, Orthodox, or whatever sinful religion there is, I understand your obsession with earthly trash — that is what the dead do. But if you are born again, my advice is: kill you. Kill the white in you, kill the black in you, kill the nation in you, kill the culture in you — die, so you can be born again in the image of Jesus. Trust me: if Jesus is inside you, if you see with the eyes of Jesus and think with the heart of Jesus, you can move mountains. Who can overcome the world but the faithful?

Yet now the dead are your religious and political leaders — Catholics are your spiritual leaders. What a shame. Jesus came to divide mother from children, wife from husband, and Protestant from Catholics and Orthodox — in matters of faith. The living have no spiritual unity with the dead.

You cry “culture,” “identity,” and “civilization” — but your spiritual groups are organized by those who are under dead religion. It is abortion, homosexuality, and identity issues — not faith. A people worship idols, “saints,” and “angels,” and Jesus is crowded out, the Bible crowded out by abomination — yet those dead lead your movements. They organize your faith and political movements — as if the living should be led by the dead. Why? Because it is not about Jesus and the Bible, but about culture and identity of the flesh. Look in the mirror — you may think this is important for political power, but where is Jesus?

Can you win this fight? That takes us to the second problem: the starting point. Where do we stand now, and what is the state of society? Atheism, spiritual catacombs, and the like are taking over — especially among the current youth and next generation. The young are running far from your illusions and, as a result, far from God. Those youth are not greedy, selfish sinners living for themselves as many religious people are. Most of them are humanists who reject God and holy living by His standard.

What you have is a mix of cultural and social preferences with political ideology — like capitalism and other systems — combined with the Bible and apology for Jesus. What are the odds that your cultural, social, and political ideas are useful for the gospel? Capitalism and Jesus? Why not just Jesus? Then we can talk about systems through the heart of Jesus. Capitalism is earthly, but our mission is heavenly. Political ideology, history, cultural wars — all are distractions from the work of faith.

I may personally like humanistic capitalism, but that is preference, not universal truth. Jesus is light — that is universal truth. Why mix my garbage with the light of the Lord? Capitalism has evils — why stain Jesus with such dirt instead of keeping Him pure and clean? That is why this thing will go nowhere. You may have your bubble of religion, but look at the world — your trash will go nowhere. This is not the Cold War to have a Cold War mentality. This is the information age — better to be wise than delusional. Keep Jesus pure — 100% unprocessed and organic. He has the better market.

What we need is to show people the pure Jesus — the truth of Jesus, independent of our culture, identity, politics, or preferences. We reject homosexuality, abortion, and all sins, as we reject Catholicism and other dead religions. We will speak against them loudly, as we do against Word of Faith, the prosperity gospel, and dominion theology. Everything that belongs to Jesus must shine bright, and everything else must be kept in the dustbin. This is the way to save the lost from hell — by preaching the pure gospel and the pure Jesus, not a processed Jesus who is capitalist, white, black, brown, political, or nationalistic. This is my narrow path to Jesus — and for it to work, only one thing is needed: Jesus. Jesus must say “Go,” and He must be with you.
