We Have the Heart of Jesus — and No One Can Comprehend the Heart of God (Edited by ChatGPT)
The Bible says that if you are
with God, He will first give you peace even among your enemies — He can prepare
a table for you in the midst of them. But when there are those not meant for
peace, God will allow them to come as one, yet they will scatter in seven
directions. For it is God who fights for you; it is not you who fight for
yourself. But if you rise against God and His will, the very staff that once
shielded you will turn against you — until you return to Him.
This is not only true in the
physical world but also in the spiritual. Jesus came to give sight to the blind
— and to blind those who claim they see. The devils played humanity like
puppets, driving us through the rat race of life while they schemed in the
unseen. They divide us, make us fight, stir our flesh, and draw out our animal
instincts. They turn us against God and His commandments. As the gates of hell,
they send us toward hell — because we are blind in spirit and live by the
flesh, while they manipulate the spirit from within, unified in their evil
purpose.
But Jesus, our Lord and Savior,
paid for our sin, justified us as holy by His blood, and gave us a second birth
in the Spirit. Now we no longer judge by what we see or hear — we judge with
the heart of Jesus, using the eyes and ears of God. Once, we were fools played
by devils. Now, though they still play their games, God is the one playing them.
They think they are making moves, but God is drawing them toward their ultimate
end. They are blind because they cannot comprehend God, who works through us.
The born-again believer is like
the wind — you can see its effects, but you cannot tell where it comes from or
where it goes. You can see that things are working for the glory of God through
the faithful, but you cannot trace the process. No one can fully understand the
heart of God, not even His sheep. They know that everything will ultimately
work together for good because God is in charge — and that no weapon formed
against them will prosper — but they do not know the details of how.
Now imagine someone stronger
attacking you. What would you do? Unless your heart is weak, you would fight
with everything you have. If all you have is a pen, you fight with that pen. If
you have a bag, you fight with the bag. You don’t fight because you expect to
win — you fight because you refuse to surrender.
Now imagine the devil — being
destroyed by Jesus — what do you think he will do? He cannot understand what is
happening, so he lashes out in all directions with worthless attacks. Toilet
paper comes from one side, tomatoes from another, water from another — chaos
without meaning. He doesn’t know what else to do. He cannot stop what God is
doing, yet he cannot let go.
So if, in your life, the devil
seems to be attacking from every direction — with confusion, noise, and petty
troubles — remember this: Jesus is at work, and the devil is terrified. He is
fighting blindfolded, without understanding what is really happening. He thinks
the walls of Jericho are impenetrable strongholds of sin, yet they collapse
before his eyes when the faithful praise the Lord. He thinks he has sent a
giant for victory, but the smallest of God’s people cuts him down. He thinks he
has cornered the saints at the Red Sea, but the sea opens to save them — and
then swallows him. The devil is directionless and blindfolded, and all his
plans dissolve into daydreams.
In this spiritual war, the wise
response is not panic but growth. Use every attack as an opportunity for
self-development and spiritual maturity. The work of the gospel is not a
picnic. The more you advance, the harder the devil will push back — so treat
each trial as a vaccine. Build your strength and character in Christ through
it, so that in times of invasion you will stand firm with the manners of the
Lord.
When the devil tested Jesus,
Jesus turned those worthless tests into worthy proclamations of the Word of
God. Likewise, use the devil’s agenda to focus on God’s agenda. If the devil
says “tomato” and “potato,” take the opportunity to explain how God’s Word
speaks about creation and the purpose of all things — even vegetables. Don’t
get lost in the tomato-and-potato debate — that’s the devil’s distraction.
Instead, redirect attention toward truth.
If they say tomato is potato,
don’t obsess over correcting every small detail — that’s the devil’s trap. Use
the moment to teach the larger truth. When the devil stirs up wind, use that
wind to sail further into the Word of God. Don’t fight his storm unless it is
necessary — let it serve your purpose.
Learn to walk with the victorious
Lord — Jesus Christ. And remember, the devil will never stop because you are
the smell of hell to him — a reminder of his coming destruction. You are
the fragrance of salvation to the saints. The fire of hell is his
future, and your very existence reminds him of it. What else do you expect from
a being already condemned?
