“We” is not for our slavery but for our fulfillment

In the old covenant of Israel and the lord, the lord used intermediaries between him and his people. In this era, the temple curtains were used to separate those who could get closer to the Lord and the people. When the Lord gave his life for our salvation, however, the curtain of the temple was cut into two. In the new covenant of the lord with the world, therefore, there is no curtain between the lord and every faithful, as every faithful becomes a temple of the lord. Everyone who has the spirit of the lord is a temple of the lord and is granted to have salvation without question. If you don’t have the spirit of the lord, however, you will face the final judgment of the lord according to your work, as it is written. In this process, we need to understand why unity with other faithful is necessary and why the lord cares about us not as independent individuals but as collectives. The lord is not comparable to us. His intelligence, holiness, and might are without bound; yet he is livi...

Tomorrow is not yesterday

A certain man came to Jesus and asked him to make his brother share their inheritance. Yet, Jesus answered him “Who made me your judge?” If there is a wise and just judge, it would be Jesus. Yet, because you are good at something, does mean you have to do it. A good pool player has to see not only how can s/he hit the necessary ball with the white ball, but also where the white ball ends; as where the white ball ends will determine: if the next move of the opponent against you is easy or hard. Before the Russian and Ukraine war, there was a fistfight in the parliament of Ukraine between pro-Russian and pro-West politicians. Politicians acting like little schoolboys is often common in this age, but there was one eye-catching exception in the Ukrainian parliament of that day. While many politicians are fistfighting, like little school boys, one huge member of the parliament is watching the fistfight from a distance. What is interesting is he used to be the heavyweight boxing champion o...

Where your treasure is, is where your heart is

My main focus in this post is on the issue of wealth, health, and prosperity. To explain my point with adequate depth, however, I will start with a very brief discussion of the metaphysical history of our faith. Let us start from the Pentecostal. When the Holy Spirit was given to the disciples of Jesus in the time of Pentecostal, they already did have 3 plus years of intensive training from the lord himself. The land was made fertile for the plantation of the spirit of truth and comfort, the Holy Spirit, by Jesus himself. That is why the quality of the original churches was not perfect, but still was the highest quality. Then slowly the law and custom of Rome did replace the law of God and the grace of God to put children of the faith under slavery of Roman law and Roman custom. So, God has to plan and execute the escape plan of his children from the slavery of Rome to freedom of obedience through grace, which is attained by faith only. This resulted in the protestant reformation. The ...

The ideal structure of an ideal church

In this world, those who lead the people have mastery of the people. They are given better cars, better houses, better respect, and obedience, yet in the ideal church, this is not the case. I am not speaking about the churches of this world but the ideal church based on the teaching of Jesus Christ. In the world, those who want to be superiors are served by their subjects, but in the ideal church, those who want to be superiors are supposed to be servants of their subjects.   If you want to have the grace of knowledge, then you have to read the bible day and night and teach it to everyone for free. You want to have the gift of prophecy or healing, you dedicate yourself to God and you serve people for free. You want to be a shepherd, it is your duty to watch over the sheep day in and day out for free. No special car, no special house, no special salary, just free service. There is more, no better sit, no better respect, and nobody calls you honorable names, you are just a worthl...

In this world but not from this world

We cannot judge harshly a frog in a hole for thinking that the size of heaven is equal to the size of the hole. The frog is wrong but how could it know better? The best thing we can do is take the frog out of the hole and let her see the size of heaven. The small frog, in a small hole, with a small imagination of the heavens is this small world of ours. The world at best can judge things the way they perceive it and at worst will see things through distorted glass of pure lie. That it is the world sleeping in its illusion or seeking the truth through its earthly eye.   The faithful is in the world but does not belong to the world. As spirit is in the body but is not from the body, the faithful is in the world but does not belong to the world. The Spirit of the world is mostly dormant but when you are born again your spirit is born again. So, when the spirit leads the body, salvation happens, but when the body leads the spirit sin happens. Since you have an eye that can see beyo...

Time for everything

Time for everything   A shepherd knows when it is time to feed the sheep, and when it is time to stop the feeding. A shepherd knows when it is salt time, when it is water time, when it is time to keep them in the barn, and when it is time to let them run free in the field. There is a proper time for everything and the shepherd does what is in the best interest of the sheep and himself, not necessarily what the sheep think is in their best interest. That is why the good shepherd has a stick in his hand. The stick is in the hand of the shepherd to make the sheep do what is in their best interest, though the sheep do not know it.   Imagine you find a man of God serving in a remote location in poverty without a collection of contributions for his spiritual service. Or imagine holy people who live by the word of God and who imitate Jesus while accepting poverty as their destiny and thinking life of poverty is what is expected of holy people. Telling those people that faithful are n...

As a hungry person, what you need is not bread

When you work in the name of the Lord, knowing your goal or having a clear vision is important. This is because if you do not know where you are going, any road can take you there! As a result, you will go around being lost in the middle of nowhere like a lost child who does not know how to go forward or how to go back home. Beyond vision, you need a good appraisal of your reality, as you need to understand from where you are starting. Then you need a strategy that can guide you from your starting point to your goal.   Jews have a Jewish dream, Ethiopians have an Ethiopian dream and Americans have an American dream. Yet our dream is not from this earth, it is heavenly. Gospel is not about making Ethiopia great again, it is not about making America the greatest in the world or making the Jews center of this world, it is about making the mountain of God to be the highest among all mountains of this world. Lord did pick many of his disciplines from Nazareth but their missio...
